Filipino Mylotters: Do you go disco dancing? Where?

I think they do not call it disco already, nowadays they call it bar. Even as a child I never got the habit of going there. I do not know maybe my personality just does not suit me. I am quite a loner and I stayed at home all the time when I was young. I do get curios what happens inside but I never dared to enter into one.

No one's never too old for disco dancing although I don't really go to such places before except when there are visitors in the office who like to experience the night life and you have no choice but to act as tour guide. And I have also experienced disco dancing during fiestas, usually discos are held in the open basketball court.

I am happy for you Maigzen to be able to have that kind of happy night life even if it's in the past. I didn't have any kind of that life and even now. Maybe it's just not me though if someone will invite me, I would like to go to bars which play some nice music but not the disco types. I go for classic or soft music or even pop maybe which I like. I do not prefer the current bands here. I also like to watch concerts. Do you know Potts, the British tenor who won on the British talent search. I would have loved to watch his concert but it was so expensive.

I use to hang out with friends before and we go to disco bar to have fun. Live music and spending time with girl friends are one of the things that i do when i was still single. But now that i am married my interest in life had change and i am not interested anymore of hanging out at night. I guess it has something to do with me being a wife and soon to be mom. But once in my life i have enjoyed the night life and listening to live music.

i already have outgrown those stuff. way back high school days i was only able to enter a disco (which we used to call before) during the 4th year JS prom. when i was in college, almost every weekend my friends & i are in a bar (new term by the way) & at times what we do is bar hopping.. oh well those we're the years we're we tire ourself & sweat it all out through dancing. not that i don't have a night life lately but what we do is go to a bar with bands with not so loud music. when i was in a college we used to dance in a bar called Gimbals (in Baguio) but is now closed..

Hmmm, I think the term now is bar hopping or party.:) Disco is so an old term. Anyways, there is Alchemy in Ortigas, Ratsky, Hard Rock and a number in malate, qc, ortigas and makati.:)
