Safeguard your system……….  

After I am done with work, I turn off my computer. I'm not sure how well my boss has the firewall set up on the network, and I would rather not take chances of a hacker. So, everyday when I leave, I shutdown the computer. That is just my personal preference.

After switching off my system I dont cover it up. Since the system is working for a long time, some heat will flow in the cpu. So dont cover it. Leave it for atleast half an hour to cool the sytem. And I will never give my system to anyone. May be sometimes give it to my friends.

When I used to work in an office (just 2 months), I was used of keeping all the most important information on just a 1 gigabyte flashdrive, to make sure I won't lose it, and noone will be able to see it. I never save such things on a 'public' computer, and I only use it when I really need it to. I never forgot it, and never had a problem with it! So I never needed some kind of security, or safeguard, and I didn't use a password even! As long as that flash drive was with me, I knew it was safe, and untrackable.
