Do you say thank you too much

I don't think I say it too much. I say it all the time though. Even with things that don't require a thank you. I think it's good to say it a lot though. It's good manners and it lets people feel appreciated.

Two things: One, yes I make sure to thank people, whoever it is, as often as it's called for AND only if I'm grateful. Two: I think to misuse or abuse the word is absolutely wrong and cheapens it. Think about it. It's just like people who do the same with the word "sorry" when they really aren't and then turn around and repeat the same ofense. It's a farse! Like swearing over an insignificant thing. People stop believing you. It stops meaning anything.

I don't think I say it too much. I think I say it enough. Someone is helping you by answering questions, or by bagging your groceries, at the cash register, at the gas station. Even though they are getting paid for it, it's still something that they are doing for you. Someone passes me the salt, I say thank you. My husband gets up to get something from the kitchen and he brings me back a soda, I say thank you. I have to agree with the comment about saying "sorry". Sorry is a word that is definitely abused. Geez, don't say it unless you mean it.

i never thank people!

I really don't think I say thank you too much. I just say it when it is appropriate to do so. T know alot of people say it quite often even when they shouldn't have to. I will say this to you though. "Thanks" for sharing with us.

I've been noticing how much I say thank you. I remember when the clerks at the checkout said thank you for shopping or something similar. Now I find myself thanking them. Obviously, I am saying it too much

On the other hand, I thank my kids when they've done something for me. I don't think that's used often enough that we thank our family members.

yes ofcousre..if i like the resposne the much..surly i will say thank yout ahnk you thank you soooo much...like this...lol..they sepnt theeir golden mintues for our discsusion..for that we have to so thanks ..even the resposne is not that much good to see...that is our duty to say thanks to all..sometime i too not able to do it..i will mark it as a best resposne...have a nice time with mylot

Yes, I have done so many times in life. But, when I go back and think about what I said, I realized that I did not really have to say thank you to them..
