Would it make you change your mind?  | |  I known no one could change my mind about what I believe. So do you think there is anyway that someone could say something that would change your mind about the way you believe? I know that a lot of you are going to say there is nothing to believe in, Okay, so you believe in nothing, but still you believe. I heard it said; I don't kown who said it, they would ratter rule in Hell than serve in Heaven. But I tell you something the devil is not going to rule in Hell, he's going to be put there by god to surfure just like us. I know the road I'm on is leading me straight to Hell, but I still believe that God has gave me a way out, if I will only take it. He will not froce me to serve him, he gave the way to Heaven and a mind to make my onw chose, So if I go to Hell I have no one to blame but myself. So when we meet there, don't cry and say I didn't know, God didn't give a fair chance. I think all Gods are the real God, because their is only one God, it makes no diffirent what you call him or how you worship him, I don't think there is any bad religion, I'm an open minded person, so if I want to shot AMEN when the preacher said something I like, That's just my way. If you want to say there is no God, that's your way. If you think that a cow is God, that's your way. My wish is that what ever you believe makes you happy, and forfills your life. I think the main thing is that we all love one another as we love our self. So with love to you all I say God Bless you.

No there is nothing anyone could say that would make me change my mind. I have some real experiences and it would take more of the same to undo it.

The story about the rich man who died, tells that he was in hell when he died.
It is important that one finds out about God, and there is ony one "true" God, otherwise why would Jesus be called "Lord of Lords and King of Kings?"
Never mind which religion is the right one - - all religion does is create debate and division, which God hates, according to the book of Proverbs.
One last thought - when Jesus died and descended into hell to take from satan, the keys to death, hell, and the grave, He took the Old Testament believers into heaven with Him - they weren't in a state of 'soul sleep.'

We are created in God's image, so God never sleeps or slumbers, as His word says, so because we are created like him - neither do we sleep or slumber in our spirit.

He was a believer of the resurrection and taught and preached it. I suggest you read Matthew 22:29. As fas as going to heaven upon death read also John 3:13. Hell in the Hebrew sense is derived from the word Sheol which means the grave, it wasn't till the catholic church came on the scene that it took on the meaning of hades, which is the Greek/roman afterlife of eternal punishment and torture. The wages of sin is death an eternal one. The lake of fire is reserved for the false prophet and the angels. It also says death and hell will be done away with, meaning dying and the grave or corruption. Might I ask what translation of the bible do you use? | |

If ppl choose not to believe, whether I agree or don't, that's their choice...hopefully it's not the wrong one. Personally I believe in God, Heaven, the Devil, Hell, Purgatory, Prayer, Forgiveness and making choices. Like you, I hope that those who don't believe, don't live to regret it...I just take care of me and mine and let others worry about themselves.
