How to you cope with illness?

I do not want to make you miserable but I would ike to know how you cope wen you are ill. I have a long term illness that greatly impedes what I can do. Usually I am a very positive and happy person but sometimes I can get really down. I try to find something to make me laugh. My husband is very good at cheering me up or I shall watch something on TV or read a book. I have found that since I have been on mylot I have found a lot of interesting things to keep me going. How do you cope?

What kind of illness? Are you bed ridden? In a wheelchair? What can you do?

I have heart and lung problems which are worse sometimes than they are other times. sometimes I can get out and sometimes I cant. I try not to let it bother me. I find being on the computer a great help. Thankyou for your reply.
