It was almost a week late, but it finally got here  |

 My sister in law baked me some cookies. My favorite. Chocolate chip, yummy. She mailed them in time that they should have been here last Saturday. And they weren't! Well the mystery us solved. Some of my pals here said the mailman ate them. NOPE. Just a late package. My hubby had to go to the post office and wait 45 minutes to get it.

1.  stephcjh (22615) | 1 year ago |  I'm glad you finally got them. I guess there may have been a delay in shipping due to the hurricane damage. I never have to wait in line at the post office for that long. We live in a small community though. I think the longest I ever had to wait, was about 5 minutes.

2.  bcote212 (1024) | 1 year ago |  I won a computer on ebay a few months ago and waiting for it to finally make it from Florida to Maryland took forever. I literally waited 2 weeks for it to make the journey. I cant believe that it took so long in the year 2008 for something to take that long to travel by mail. i assume though that the reason it took so long was because of the weight of the package.

| 5. DaddyOfTheRose (2805) | 1 year ago |  I do remember some trouble waiting in lines for packages. At our post office there is supposed to be a door where you ring the bell to get your packages. Unfortunately, it is not often 'manned' and as such you have to pull a number and wait in line. That is so terribly tedious!
