Yep. But, you would be amazed how many people who should know better don't read the fine print. So, the company is counting on your average financially unsophisticated person who needs a little cash to get through the month to not read it either.

Like I said, sometimes, you get a bit behind because of things outside your control. But, if you are taking out a loan on your car to go on vacation or buy that big screen tv, you deserve what you get.

Thanks for reading my response! I am always telling my children now they are young adults to read the "The Fine Print" and don't be ashame to asked questions. I have never understand why people don't. Before, I would get a "Car Loan" (The kind that we are discussion), I would have a yard sell or something else to get me through the month. Yeah, we do need to do more to educate people about finances. But, even the federal government is not doing much. They have been bailing out the auto industry for stupid decisions for decades. They recently stopped advertising the savings bond program, which could encourage people to save not spend.

Payday Loans are being limited in many places by law. So, now these places are springing up to take advantage of those who can't or won't live within their means. The only way to stop this is to teach people how to handle their money better. Of course, there will always be those who take the easy way out. But, then, they deserve what they get.

Yep, they go to great lengths to hide the fact that if you don't pay you lose your car. That's how they make their money. They get their interest, then eventually, they get your car to sell. Trust me, they did not loan you near what it was worth.
