Is it ok to appologise for something you did intentionally? |
|
I ofteh find people saying sorry when caught doing something wrong. Why say sorry? Just to escape punishment? If youwere really sorry, you would not have done it in the first place. Youcnsay sorry for some thing yu ahav doen accidentally, but if it was not a mistake but an intentional willful act of wrong doing, it is wrong to say sorry. One should be bold enough to accept the punishment, If you are bold enough to do a wrong despite knowing it to be wrong, be bold enough to accept the punishment.

3. ennylanz (658) | 1 year ago | It is really just fine to apologize when it was really your mistake.Forget the pride and just say sorry to have your mind at peace.Sometimes you get really bothered of this mistake and it was really your fault. You should just say sorry and you don't have to think twice about it.It is really easy to say this things but its really the thing to do to swallow your pride and accept that we really commit mistakes.

4. andalond (3388) | 1 year ago | I think it's more like accept the consequences. I have my husband tell me sorry for things he does and then he does them again in a few months. He says I'm Mrs. Perfect but come on if I am telling you that you are not listening to me, then why repeat the same things? As a consequence he has to hear me bark about it later on and he says it's to much.

6. dsharat (377) | 1 year ago | Hi dear...Yeah Sorry is the first word that we hear from the one who does a mistake or any thing wrong.Slowly its losing its value, its just becoming a common word for every one who does a mistake and says a sorry..And we also tend to cool down when others say sorry to us...Some people do mistakes and they don't even know that they are doing a mistake..They just do it in an angry mood or due to some other reasons..but it takes some time to realize that they have done a mistake..Then if they really feel for the mistake, then they will come back and say sorry...It is acceptable if sorry is used in this kind of situation...If you are intensionally doing a mistake and asking to excuse the mistake its just insulting your self...That shows how cheap a person is...

7. donn_juan (192) | 1 year ago | first of all you can't say sorry until you've done something wrong..sorry is just an expression of recognizing one's fault either intentionally done or not.
every mistake and wrong doing has punishment..punishment comes simultaneously with saying sorry. it doesn't mean that just because you did the act intentionally, saying sorry is no longer needed. it's one of the hardest words to utter nowadays..give credit to those who say SORRY and means it.
enjoy life..;o)

8. amlegend (787) | 1 year ago | if it was wrong that i will not try in first the first instance doing it but if the temptation of bad is so good that i do it and then my bad luck is so good that i gt caught doing it then i will not only say sorry and make a daligient effort of not repeating it but will also try to overcome the feelings or temptations that made me do such things. i hope that by showing determination and good will you can get the trust again and yes i will not try to do it in the beginning.

9. blackmantra_x (2438) | 1 year ago | Good day.. If one is truly sincere and apologetic about she/he'd done and repentant of it then by all means apologize, one thing though that person mustn't expect forgiveness given as simply as that. One can ask for forgiveness but consequences should also be shouldered by that person.

10. sanjana_aslam (1850) | 1 year ago | hi mercuryman,
sometimes, what we believe is right may not be foe others, i will post a simple question to you ...
if my husband likes to drink beer but i do not like it .. so when i am out he endulges himself, suddenly i get back home and cought him ... is it wrong??
i cant punish him for doing something that "he" likes, yes he will be appologatic but not sincerely...
... but being married, sometimes the women do not like the man to do something that they themself do not like ... but what about the "individual needs" of the other person ..
i am not saying your statement is wrong at all .. it does happen sometimes, like when my husband fix an appoinment to join me for dinner with my friends .. but he planned not to turn up actually ... in this type of situation .. it is wrong for him to make the promise when he feels otherwise ..
conclusion: it is not easy as abc .. it is really complicated and depends on the act and situation ... and the acceptance of the parties involved in it... we just have to learn to know the person, and make our own judgement of the person and decide if we want to trust them or not ... no point in arguments or punishments (note i am not talking on heavier crimes like adultry, murder here ..)
cheers
