new york, is there lots to do or not

Hello Ladywriter... It depends on what you consider New York as. I've only been to NYC once (last year) and I spent a week there and it wasn't enough and that was just in Manhattan. I'm sure if you go further, there are much more things to do. Boyfriend and I crammed 4 museums, a cruise tour, shopping, dining, sightseeing (Statue of Liberty, Central Park, Empire State, Wall Street, etc... A few other friends joined us later on for a three-day weekend. We also paid a visit and our respects to those who died at Ground Zero.

My friend who lives in the north of England had a winter trip for five days to New York. He met up with a Canadian friend and as she had been there before she was able to show him all the best sights. They found a lot to do there, sightseeing, theater and shopping. If I was going to fly to the East Coast of the USA I would try to see Boston, Cape Cod, New York and Washington DC on the same trip. A weekend in New York would be exciting but up to a week would be interesting. Happy traveling.

Oh there is tons to do in New York! I live in New York and I am never bored with New York. I would say stay here as long as you can. I would plan a trip in the summer, because there a so many free things to do, so you wouldn't spend much money. There is Broadway, shopping, museums, galaries, concerts ect....

It's the best city in the world!!!
