Do you think Sony PlayStation Portable is a failure?

Hmm that's why I do feel that NDS is actually more successful than PSP. :) FF7 Crisis Core is not that bad, in my opinion, though i would prefer to play like the original FF7. Competitive gaming is nice especially if you do that...in office. Hahhaa. I did that before, with my boss. :D

Ah well, hope the new games will be good - kingdom hearts 2, dissidia, etc.

The games are all that matter as well as determine the hand held's popularity it seems.. yeah, the Final Fantasy VII rendered like that of Crisis Core.. up coming games should help on the hand held's popularity..

How I hope that PSP will have classic RPG games such as Dragon Quest =_= I've been waiting nearly forever for one good RPG to come to PSP. The only one I've played so far is Jeanne D'Arc. That's why I'm bit disappointed. Fighting games...tekken, and that's all. Nothing much as well. I think it can achieve more than the current level. Just that maybe the game is a bit too hard to develop :(

Or game producers aren't really inclined on making some of their games playable on Sony's PlayStation Portable, even revamped games should be possible but, as you have mentioned with Dragon Quest, that game hasn't been developed to be playable on the Portable.

Indeed, wouldn't it be more convenient that game developers would release some of their old populars to be playable once again, rendered in better game graphics? Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles for example is something like that but, I wasn't really of a fan.. probably the reason why game developers didn't take that step, gamers now-a-days simply don't just play games like they use to.. retro gaming is a bit a risky venture.. technology being progressive as it seems to be.. (^_^")

I think there are some games who got 'enhanced' such as Dragon Quest. They came out with an improvised version of the old game for NDS.

As for PSP, FF tactics is actually an old game. But other than that....castlevania? I don't really like that as well.

Ah well, guess we have to wait for SONY to push their 'friends' into making games for the PSP.

Yeah, they just have to convince game producers to make games playable for the their hand held or it would seem like another hand held that tried to compete with Nintendo's when it comes to popularity and gaming..

I just hope they won't give up all of a sudden and go for PSP 2. =_=" That will be very disappointing for all of us PSP supporters.

They've already released PSP 3000.. I guess they still have plans on getting it more hyped or popular.. though nothing is really innovative with the PSP compared to Nintendo's DS, game control and game arsenal.. oh yeah, that PSP 3000 has a mic built in.. guess up coming games would get gamers to speak up while playing..?

I think they are trying to make it a multimedia device rather than a hardcore gaming device like Nintendo DS. But if they are trying to make it a multimedia device, they are actually competing with the likes of Apple IPhone.

Well, its still a different experience to be able to push buttons while playing than touching a screen with displays that would actually work out as buttons..
