Litter training your cat...... | | OK, ya'll. it's time for something less serious than what I have been reading on here latele.
I'm gonna keep it short and sweet.........
I recently aquired another cat, making 2 for us, and she took to the litter box super quick (we only caught her squatting in the floor one time and threw her in the box and that was the end of the training.) I don't know if it was b/c we already had a trained cat and she just picked it up that way, or if she was trained by the person we got her from (they were giving her away at a local grocery store).
My Q to you is.... do you have trouble potty training your animals (can be cat or dog or whatever)? Or does it just come naturally to your pets? Do you have any tricks of the trade that could help out our myloter friends if they are having a hard time with this?

I do have one problem cat that goes OUTSIDE the box, I think he thinks he's too big to fit in it (he is really huge, but he could fit if he tried.) But even he goes NEAR the box, so he's got the right instinct, he just for some reason won't go right inside the box.

A friend of mine in Scotland who lived in a flat and would not let her cats outside, trained them to do their stuff in the bath!!! She would then flush it down the drain. Some people have weird ways. And talk about potty training cats, I saw a discussion on TV about this cat that does his stuff in the Toilet. Now you can even get a seat to put across the toilet to train the cat to go on. Someone is probably making a fortune out of that invention, anyway I will stick with the good old cat tray. I am having a bit of trouble with my young dog at the moment. I let him out a few times before I go to bed but there would still be a mess on the verandah in the morning. So now I take away the dog biscuits around seven at night and after the last time I let them out for the night I take away the water until the morning. That seems to working. Hope that helps
