Which foreign language do you want to study aside from English?

I want to learn Spanish if given the chance. I studied the basics of Spanish when I was in college but I never was able to explore further the language. I like this language because it sounds good in my ear. It is just that I don't have enough time but maybe one of these days... I will pursue my studies.

But this survey was answered by few few respondents only. I don't agree with this survey though. English is beautiful why it is not here?

Well, aside from English I want to learn Chinese and Spanish since most of our family friend (includes my childhood friend) and my boyfriend are Chinese.. Sometimes, I hate them when they speak Chinese in front of me simply because I don't understand them.. Actually, when I was a kid my father enrolled me in a Chinese school but since learning it isn't that easy so I just decided not attend classes.. But now I'm mad at myself because if I just tried to learned it before then maybe I can construct even just a simple Chinese sentence... Well, I know to speak simple words only but not constructing a sentence..

In our provinces here in the Philippines which is Zamboanga City, we were speaking broken Spanish.. There are some words that used Spanish language.. So, I want to learned more speaking Spanish language since it is not already that hard to learned Spanish Language.. I actually can understand simple Spanish sentence but going deeper into their language, well that's the thing that I want to learn..

When i was young, i dream that one day i would able to understand Japanese. And I'm learning it now.
Now i dream to speak more than 10 language from different country. I will choose Korean, French, Spanish and lots more. Wish my dream come true soon

french, german and dutch..i find them interesting and i think i want to punish myself LOL because i heard they're really hard to learn....tough!;o)

I have taken Spanish classes and have taught myself a bit of Japanese. I hope to one day become fluent in both of these languages. Now a days it's important to be bi or multilingual.

I know how to speak French and Spanish although I need to improve on my grammar in both of these languages. I can speak a little Korean and I know how to read the Korean alphabet (ga, na, da, la, ma, ba, sa...). I'd like to learn German, Russian, Chinese and Italian.

Hi there maigzen!!!! Well aside from English I want to study French. and I will agree with you its very sophisticated. Even I dont understand the language it is pleasant to your ear. aside from english I can speak Japanese, still I do want to learn, writing and reading. especially their kanji (Japanese character). Since that I live here at Japan I think Im obligated to study their language. Have a nice day.

I think a friend of mine actually teaches English to Koreans and most of them are making good money from it.

The language I want to learn is Spanish. Since this language is actually incorporated in the Tagalog dialect. Here in the Philippines.
