Which foreign language do you want to study aside from English?

Hi. Aside from English, I used to study Spanish during my primary and high school years. I have forgotten most of what i learned that time and just retained the simple Spanish greetings instead. Right now, I'm currently trying to learn Japanese because in a few months, I'll be assigned to work in Japan. There are still a lot of languages I want to learn especially the romance languages: French and Italian.

I would loev learning French too. I just like how the words in french are being pronounce..and i'm curious why they are being pronounced that way.

It's good that you are learning other dialects. Keep it up.

I know Spanish, I'd like to learn French because I think its a beautiful language too. I guess I'll learn what ever language God wants me to learn, our family plans to do missions for the church someday. Good luck on learning your chosen languages, keep at it, you'll get it.

hi, what about chinese?
It is said it is hard for foreigners to master it. Do you agree with that?
If someone who like chinese, i'd like to help them.
After all I am a Chinese speaker, a native one.

If I were younger, I'd learn Spanish. In our part of the US, almost, if not more, speak Spanish than English.

For me, I have a dream.... i wish i can learn all the language .... but... it just my dream...... Now i learning Japanese but .... I stop the class because the time not match with my timetable.... so i stop it and study myself.... end of this year i will taking the Japanese exam.... Hope I can pass for the lowest level....

Mandarin. It is a nice language (e.g. the phonetics, and the appearance of the characters), and it is also widely spoken. Knowing English and Mandarin gives you the ability to talk to a nice chunk of the number of people in the world .

I am learning a foreign language of my wife it is Tagalog and even the Bisaya dialect that she have learning with me and to our Daughter.....

That's very good! Learning a third or fourth language seems harder now. I would like to learn Mandarin because I have some cousins in China and they speak little langauge. My parents visited them this year and they have a good time even though they don't speak much because of the language difference. There are plans to visit them next year and I will go with them this time and it will be very good if I can learn a few Mandarin when the times comes. They live in Xiamen, China.
