how often do you change the color of your hair

I am happy with my hairs natural color. So i don't prefer to change my hair color. Till now i have colored my hair only twice. That also because of valid reasons. Without any reasons i am not changing my hair color. I think if we color our hairs then our hair health will get effected.

I just dyed my hair for the first time a few months ago. i put my own highlights in. It turned orange. I just dyed my hair "almost black". I love it ... it's super shiny. and a bit darker than my natural color. It depends on the package/type of hair color. Semi perm. demi perm. perm. some you may need to do it every 4 weeks.

i like my natural hair color, its dark brown but i do dye it for a change sometimes. i use wash out so after 30 washes its pretty much gone, so to answer your question i probably dye it ever 2 or 3 months if i feel like it

my hair is an ongoing saga that some of you guys here on mylot will know about!! I have always dyed my hair funny colours, and just recently i had to dye it darker after months of bleaching because it was so damaged and i really don't like it, so there's going to have to be another change very soon! lol i think that once you start dying your hair it's really hard to stop because nobody wants to walk around with roots! xxx

I was a redhead as a baby. As I got older, my hair got darker. About a year ago, I dyed my hair red. Now, I touch it about about every 6 weeks when it starts to grow out. I want to keep the red color. I think that people that dye their hair more often are causing a lot of damage. The hair dye fries your hair and coloring it too often can permanently damage your hair. I would not recommend coloring your hair more than once every 6 to 8 weeks.

i dyed my color once in September because i suddenly want to make a change on my hair color.but after doing it, i feel that my true love is in fact my natural color,that is dark hair.so now,i'm waiting for my hair to get longer and then have a new haircut~~

At one time I use to change my hair color at least twice a year but now I got so I do not do it anymore because my hair sheds so bad. I have had blonde hair, red hair, and a color I can't even describe but it was cute.

whenever... my hair is so many different shades and colours right now... several shades of brown, purple, pink - with a bit of grey for good measure!Comments have been made by my superiors at work suggesting that 'natural' colours are more in keeping but I reckon my purple is as natural as a lot of other peoples blonde!!

The last time I coloured my hair was in June 2008. I just wanted to lighten it up a bit, to bring it to a lighter shade of blonde that it would get to on its own by the end of the summer. Before that, it had been at least 6 years since I'd last coloured my hair. I'm not a big fan of the maintenance involved in colouring my hair, obviously. However, as more gray hairs appear, I'm going to get to know my hairstylist that much better, and have her do highlighting and lowlighting for me.

I dont color my hair jsut for the fact it isnt good for your hair to do that but my grandmother does color hers and every 4 weeks is WAYYYYYYY to much her hair is going to start falling out if she isnt caring and not doing it that often. I think if im not msitaken its every 6 months or 6 weeks to color your hair. Sothing of that nature. But every 4 weeks is not good at all. So to be honest i wouldnt do that anymore i know your hair color cant already be worn out by the 4th week because my grandmother does hers every 6 months and thats when it starts to wear off so i would wait a longer to color it.
