2012 the world end

What's to be scared of?? If it happens, how will we know??? There could be a lot scarier things to come if it doesn't end......

If you are talking about the end of the Mayan calender, I think they could have thought that this would be long enough for a calender or might not have the means to predict anything farther than this. Even if it is the end, what can we do? If we are supposed to go, we will. Atleast we'll all be together in the end. I am not scared of any doomsday predictions. If it has to come, all of us are going. We are not going to stay back alone in this world, so what is the reason to worry?

Maybe they should just look at all the possibilities now.
Instead of picking one date then closing their minds, if they kept researching and find a later one each time, they'll gradually realise that theres nothing to worry about.

It's like one of those projects that you hear about govt's researching and you think "now thats a completely useless waste of time and resources".

The only thing i know for sure about 2012 is that London will be hosting the olympics. With any luck by that time the labour party will be a distant memory and we'll have a cure for cancer. Alternatively by that time the world's leaders will have run the economies to ground, the rich richer and the poor poorer, history will repeat itself and major wars will breakout due to a lack of understanding and the whole world will self-implode.

Lets face it, if the world's going to end, it'll be at the hands of man. So how about we stop the death knells, the pointless research, statistics, folk lore and scaremongering and use those resources and energy to save man from itself
