 I was just wondering how many couples took alot of consideration in choosing a wedding band. Did your husband buy you the ring and then propose or did you go with him to purchase the rings together? Do you like how your wedding band looks like? Do you both have matching sets and if so does your husband wear his band? If your husband would tell you he'd buy you a new wedding band would you say yes or hold on to the original band because it held sentimental values?

| 22. tigeruncle (897) | 7 months ago |  Hello thanks for the post. Well I do not know what a wedding band is, but I wear a goldring studded with yellow sapphire, this is our wedding ring. This was given to me by my inlaws as per our tradition, I am Hindu by religion from India.

But he has impeccable tastes and knowledge of gem stones. He also knows my style, so it was easy for him. When we went to pick out wedding bands, he showed me the one he liked. I liked it to, so that is what I got! His wedding band is just plain. But I dont think anything else would have looked right on his hand.
I definitely wouldnt want a new band. Eventually, I may get a plain band that I can wear so my current rings dont get filthy all of the time! But that day wont be coming any time soon!

We both want a simple and same designs. We wear it from the our wedding day upto now. Buying a new wedding ring will be nice but I prefer to have it on our 10th Wedding Anniversary.
