Hello. During my stay here in myLot for a quite some days, I found out that there's a lot of same or relevant topics posted / started or I let me say that a really duplicate one. Is this a "coincidence"?? As a beginner , I don't have any idea which is the original and who is the copier of the said topic/s. Its a battle between piracy / innovativeness ? ).
What can you feel if someone did this to you ?

actually there are lots of posts which are made again n again just because the new people who come on myloy don't knw tht the topic has already been discussed and they go on posting n posting.....there is no such harm but still people should try to start new topics and before doing they should make sure tht it is not a repost!!
Gud luck!!hope i made my points clear!!
Happy mylotting!!

There are many incidents of coincidences life brings at different times. Many people here in mylot seem to express their original ideas and thoughts.Sometimes the topics may be looking somewhat similar, but there are touch of original thinking and personal feelings too.I feel, mylot authoritis do take proper care to encourage posting of original thoughts and ideas and to minimise the chances of piracy.Thanks.

Well, some discussions are copied intentionally and some are by accident. Some users don't have time to browse over a million discussions just to see if the discussion they are about to start has already been made. Some are just duplicated by coincidence.

There are really people here in mylot who sometimes do the spamming, but I believe like some of the topics under the same interest more or less would be similar. With the number of members in mylot, a lot of probability that a topic will be brought up by two or more members. Worst case is that there are really members who duplicate.

There are lots of similar discussions in very many of the interest groups. I don't think it is a matter or piracy , just a matter of maybe not checking things out before we post, sometimes. I started a discussion a couple of weeks back, and a couple of days ago, the same discussion was started by someone else. Sometimes, it may be the same topic but with a different twist or point of view. As long as it is not taken directly from another discussion, it's all good, as far as I am concerned.
