Does anyone here live in chronic severe pain?  | |  I was just wondering if any of you guys have a severe chronic pain? From an injury or some other cause. I have saccroilitis and it is debilitatingly painful. How do you deal with the pain?

I have had chronic back pain for probably 10 - 12 years.
I have degenerative disc disease and Fibromyalgia. It is very painful at times.
What I find so frustrating about it is it is not something you can physically see, so people don't understand how much pain you're in.
So yeah, I know chronic pain.

 psspurgeon1 (670) | 1 year ago | Thank you mechanic for the sympathy, it is the worst constant thing I've had to deal with. Basically, I have a crooked pelvis that is laying on/near a nerve and it is causing alot of inflammation. It is bursitis in the hip, saccroilitis in the back. I have undergone 9 weeks of physical therapy adn had 12 shots guided via xray down into my hip socket. They say the only thing they can do now is to manage the pain but so far, it's not managable.
And thank you Cheryl, I am sorry about your situation. I know of people who have the things you have and I know they are miserable also! I do hope your having better luck in the managing pain department than myself... | |

| | 2.  celticeagle (4659) | 1 year ago |  YES!! I have arthritis in my right knee. I love to ride my mountain bike, play volley ball and work out. Somedays my knee hurts me so badly I can't even walk. It is fun. I take warm baths, use hot compresses, rub some Zero-Pain into it until it subsides.
