Hi tonytt, I don’t put on my wrist watch when swimming. Though my watch is waterproof I still insist not to wear it while swimming for there is still a risk of being damage by water accidentally. I usually keep it in the locker. What’s more I don’t need the watch while swimming. If I’m too indulgent in swimming my hubby would pester me to leave the pool
I come across several cases when my friends did wear them and nothing happened to their watches. I suppose that their watches were new and not serviced or opened before. I believe if it’s really a quality watch then there would be no problem to wear it in the water.
posting and have a great day.

Hello tonytt. I will never wear my watch to swim even if it is waterproof. When it say that it is waterproof, my understanding to this is a little bit of water is ok to get split onto the watch instead of getting it fully soaked in the water. Good day, friend.

I prefer wearing a watch when swimming so I can still track down the time even if I'm in the water enjoying water creature. I have a speedo waterproof wrist watch and it was indeed working upto 100m under the water.

I'd rather not wear my watch when swimming even if it is really waterproof because it will just give me discomfort. Whenever I am swimming, I want to feel relax and comfortable and I won't put on something that will give me a problem later on.

LOL~It's not a bad idea to buy one by the end of year,as you know there'll be quite a lot of sale then~especially in the southern part of China,or say in HongKong~

No i dont wear my watch when i go on swimming.Eventhough watches today are usually waterproof but it doesnt really mean that its just ok to wear them all the time even when we are in the water. We just have to avoid the possibility of gettting it damage becoz its not a need to wear them at all but it's just a person's luxury so i think it's advisable for everyone not to carry their watch when swimming.

maybe, i will if my watch is waterproof, so that i can test it.. but i prefer not to wear watch while swimming, because i might be hard to see the time, and i do not want to check time while swimming.. it will spoil the fun...

I always take my watch off when I go swimming. I know my watch is somewhat water resistant, but I don't think it's waterproof. I can wear it when I am out in the rain, but I don't want to risk wearing it when I have my arms submerged in water.

It's funny because I always ruin watches by swimming with them. So I finally go a watch that will be okay in water, yet I never wear it in the pool. It should be fine to wear it, I guess now I've finally gotten used to taking it off though.

Depending on what kind of watch i'm wearing.. If it's those cheap watches, or those watches that are meant for sports wear, i will wear while swimming ^_^ haha =D BEcasue if i dun use my sports watch for sports, then why should i pay so much for one when i dun even use it?? lol
UNless it's a expensive watch, or those branded or gold watches, only then i will not wear them under water.. hehe ^_^
