How much megapixel does your camera have?  

I'm assuming your camera is a PNS(point and Shoot) Most likely one of those slim onnes. I have a Canon EOS Rebel XSi Digital SLR(Single Lens Reflex). It has 12.1 Mega Pixels and I have a Canon 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM Lens for it.

we only have 5 megapixel camera from canon powershot s50 but its simply great! i love the photos being captured on our digicam.

we dont need to edit our pictures because it is like a digitally enhanced picture already.

My camera has 12 megapixels. It's a Nikon D300. My last DSLR only had 6 megapixels. It is nice working with more megapixels! I can sell larger prints of my photos. And I can crop my photos much smaller, and still have a large enough image!

I have several camera:

Olympus 2.1mp
Canon A530 5 mp
Kodak Easyshare C813 8.1 mp
Canon Rebel DSLR 6.0mp
Canon G9 12 mp

They all take great photos if you use them within their limits.

I have a Canon A630 with 8.0 MP. My other camera is an Olympus 5050 with 5MP.
The Canon takes great pictures, is portable and dependable. The Olympus takes even better picture, as it has an excellent lens. Pixels do not matter on that one. It is the lens that counts. This camera was top of the line in 2003, but it eats batteries like candy.

My new camera for my job, which I get to buy next year, will spoil me, as it will be a 10 MP Nikon or Canon SLR.

Pixels are not everything, and sometimes too many pixels actually degrade the image, especially in poor light; they also sloww down processing time; but I have a phone cam with 5 Megapixels, a canon compact with 6 megapixels, a Panasonic with 7mp, a Canon SLR with 8mps and another Caono SLR rated at 15 mps. But the lenses, sensors and processors are all important to the final outcome, too, and you can't discount the skill of the photographer!
