Your Most Memorable High School Moment! |
|
This one should wreck your brain! What was the most memorable thing in High School other than your graduation? If I hear prom answers, that would be obvious, come more creative please!
Myself, I was a so called tough guy, not a bully, but a guy who tend to not exactly look for trouble, but had to pretty much prove stuff! I'm only about 5'4", so people would test me! But one of the moments was when I actually didn't fight?! A dude kept trying to provoke me n I just told him, "look I don't want to whoop u, get suspended, go to jail, then come back here and have to do it again"! He was shocked, but he never once touched me. He wanted to, but he didn't know me, but heard about me. He didn't want it, obviously; Everyone knew it, they waved him off, n called him a punk n said he was just talking. If he wanted to do something, he wouldv done it instead of talking!
My position was, at that time it wasn't worth it, come at me later where I can get you with no issues! Now days, there's no fighting one on one head up, it's a mob on one or two and guns involved! Fighting's never the answer as you can see, sometime u accomplish more by standing off!

1. elitess (2588) | 1 year ago | Hi there. I can tell you about a few of my memorable moments in high school. One of them should be the fact that i helped my class team at the game counter-strike to get up to the semifinals thus becoming rather known in my high school. Another would be that i once tackled one of my class mates at basketball by sliding like in soccer - although he did not get hurt, as he fell on me, the moment was really funny and memorable. Let's see what else is there? Ow yes, the time when my desk mate created a smoke bomb out of a ping pong ball, and we were in the physics class and the smoke was really visible and when the professor turned from the table she thought something was on fire and we almost got punished for that one, but hour head teacher got us away from that one.

| 2. staysee34 (90) | 1 year ago | My most memorable high school moments....hmmmm. I would have to say that I was completely engrossed with singing. I made it to the State Chorus level and got to travel and be coached by top college music educators. They only chose 3 students from each school and I was chosen all four years. I guess it's a proud moment for me but very memorable as the trips were my first experiences spending time away from home and getting a taste of independence.

| staysee34 (90) | 1 year ago | HAHA...No unfortunately. I did help teach a choir class one year when my stepmom taught elementary school and the class was chosen to sing on stage with Lori Morgan(a country music singer) during one of her Christmas specials. It was great fun. These days however, it's more of a hobby. Sing in the car, the shower, in the house, occassionally at karaoke but that's about it. More importantly I share the love of singing with my 3 girls who can all carry a tune thank God...lol.

3. 20021114476 (343) | 1 year ago | Of all the years I spent there, I choose my third year there. I have several friends and our religion differs but no suicide bombing in our school so far(LOL). We used to argue but its nothing serious and we are still friends. We were comprised of catholics(1 wanted to become a born again christian and 2 wanted to be part of another), iglesia ni christo, jehova's witness, and muslim. I day we argued whether christ is god or man. This debate is rather funny(yes we were serious but we didn't forget that we were friends). I hope that religion would not separate families and friends. We may think differently from how the lord thinks that we cannot conceive what is the truth so far but somehow friendship could keep us peafully living in one planet. I think that if we renew our friendship, we could be stronger in fighting the evil.

4. arunmails (1228) | 1 year ago | Yes... one of the interesting moments happened in my high school..... our school is very strict than any other schools in our place.... And that was a special class.... For language books we will be having supplementary books, since, it is a supplementary, we don't give much importance to that book, On that special day, we got some punishment of standing for some other reason, even the girls, our teacher teaches from the supplementary, We took our uncovered supplementary book in our hand and stood..... As the classes goes on..... suddenly the teacher had a look at our books and asked "why you are all naked?"...
I thought that no one had uncovered their pants zip.... and I bend down and saw whether I had covered it or not....
The whole class watched me and laughed at me..... Then only I realized that, she said about the uncovered supplementary books....
And that was the interesting thing in my high school.....

7. unusualsuspect (2413) | 1 year ago | My most memorable moment was when I got my diploma and knew I would never have to go back there again. I hated almost every hour I spent there in complete boredom. I would have dropped out, but my parents scared me enough that I knew I couldn't. I don't remember one darned thing I supposedly learned there, except how to survive by sleeping my way through most of my classes.

| 8. artzone (22) | 1 year ago | To me the most memorable thing i remeber in high school is i meet my husband in school. I didn't know it then but i felt that way about him all thou school and we dated a couple times and ever seen then we just stay togather. In Freshmen year is when i meet him we were just friends we dated for 5 months and we moved on. Then a year and ahalf went by and we started dateing again. So we stay dateing till we graduated and stayed togather thou the time he went to basic training till we finally got married and had a baby of ower own.
Another great thing i rember about high school is the fact i love art class i couldn't wait to get to art class cause it was like a freedom for me to just escape all the busyness of the day. Time just flew by most days seemed like i would just start to draw and it would be time to leave already. I loved art. I was lucky i got to speed my last year in high school beeing in art class it rocked. I could have graduated early but i finger seen my boyfriend was still in school i would stay in and just take a few extra course in art. Because what would i do at home when my boy friend would be in school so i fingered that this way i could still see him and have some fun too.

But for one of our projects our teacher sent me and my friends to the library to study but when we found out there was no library we decided to leave school for a while and head for starbucks. When we got to our cars our teacher was waiting for us there with suspensions.:(

10. hdjohnson (1172) | 1 year ago | Mine would be transferring to a new school. At my first school I could walk to school, but some "lame brain" change the districts codes and I had to transfer to the new school.
At the new school I had to ride the bus and everything, like I was back in elementary school.
I don't think the school was better academically, but they had a better football team.
Regarding your comment, I bet you felt on a surreal high after that moment. It's true there is no real one on one fighting anymore. They simply cut all of that out with the guns and gang groups, etc...

taripres (785) | 1 year ago | Thanx, for the comment. Yes, I felt good about winning a fight without fighting, reminds me of Bruce Lee..haha!
But u had to take the bus; couldn't have been that bad! I took the bus til I got a car, I actually liked it, reminded me of Nightmare On Elm Street or sumn! But u got the better football team, if that mattered:)!
