Do you like your camera?

I love my digital camera. Usually I dont have the best luck with technology because I dont really know a lot about it but I know the basics. I really love my camera though. It takes great pictures and I havent really had big problems with it. Its the best camera Ive had so far though.

I used to work for Olympus camera. They make a good product. My hubby and I have owned two of them. I don't know what the black mark may be about. We always had nice photos. Maybe you could take it to a shop and see about getting it repaired before replacing it. We recently purchased a Samsung digital. It also seems (so far) like a good buy. I like both of these.

I don't really like the one I have at the moment, no. It was a top of the range one when I bought it but it is now very outdated and bulky compared to the new ones on the market. It's a 5 megapixel Kodak and I have a 1GB memory card. I think it is only a 3X zoom as well but once the picture has been taken you can zoom in much more than this. It takes pretty good photo's still but I would like to upgrade it to a more compact model with a better lens, better zoom and higher resolution. If you are getting a black mark on all your photo's and you take a lot of them then I would replace it.

Mine is three years old a fuji 4 mega pixels. It is old and have developed a fault. Sometimes the lens do not zoom correctly so I have to switch it off and then switch it on again to work properly. It is not the first time that I forgot about this and I got out of focus photographs.

If you can't correct the black mark then it is the time to buy a new digital camera. if it is an on and off fault try to stick with it for the time being. It depends how much of cash you have at your disposal to spend.

I have booked a fridge yesterday and iam getting a digital camera for free with it, lol. I hope its a nice one and i can take some excellent pictures from that.
I have some canon cameras with me. They are not very modern but yes good to work and handy too. They are less expensive, so i wont mind if i lose them some where as i travel to some very remote places.
Otherwise i have 2 Megapixel camera in my cell phone and its quite nice as well. The pic in my profile is shooted from my cell phone only, lol.

I absolutely love my camera!

Which make is it and what type of memory card does it take?

I have a Nikon D300 DSLR and it takes Compact Flash memory cards.

Does it take lovely photos?

Absolutely! The color is amazing, and the dynamic range is incredible. The camera also has a 51 area point autofocus which works fantastic! My photos are always in focus!

Do you think I should buy a new camera?

If you're not happy with your current camera, then yes. You might want to look into a DSLR camera instead of a point and shoot. I know the Nikon D40, D40X, D60, D80 and D90 all take SD cards. Currently I do not have a camera as my partner ran off with it and I haven't seen the camera since.

However, I am set on getting a girly pink camera and I do know I want it to be one of those that takes pictures properly however much your hands are shaking when you take the picture.

It will have to take very clear photos since I want to post them on line. Beyond that I have made no decisions. Do you have any suggestions regarding which camera I should buy?

I have never tried buying my own camera so, whatever is given to me by hubby, I love it..LOL!
I have no problem with my camera right now,, it is canon a powershot A570 IS..takes great picture!

I guess you need to get a new one because as I can see you love traveling and it takes time for you to edit all the pictures in that camera!

Honestly, my digital camera was my xmas gift from my hubby, he said he want me to buy an expensive one coz i might break it. And i don't like it. It never takes a nice photo specially at night,it does'nt have a long life battery, it never takes a nice photo of moving objects. I am thinking to replace it when i got a money. Happy posting.

If you do replace your existing camera look into one with the IS (Image stabilization)feature - it compensates camera movement and gives sharper pictures.
