do you put up "belen" in your house during Christmas?  

yah but we do big coz we do one per street

yeah, we always put up a belen during Christmas time. The house decorations would not be complete if there werent any Belen, even a small one..
When I was small, I also remember the old folks in our family usually sets up a huge Belen in front of the house. With Christmas lights and adornments, for all passerby's to see..The kids in the neighborhood really loves to stare at the moving decorations and we were all happy because we can make other people happy too...

We used to put up a belen or the nativity scene then we did not after we moved into a new home. Then my nephew had a school project of the belen so we used it at home because it's small and can be put in a small space because our house is small. so it's small christmas tree too.

When I was still young my mother will always give me the task to put up the belen in our home during Christmas. I will really squeeze my creative juices to put up a unique decoration and setup design every year, and they are all excited to see it. But that was when I was still young. Now that I am staying on my own, I don't really take the time to decorate my place as I used to do. Simple door decor and lights without the big christmas tree (which I miss a lot) and few other decors to feel the spirit of christmas in my apartment.

yes we do. christmas is about the birth of our lord so i think every catholic has to have a belen in their homes for that is the reason why we celebrate christmas. i still have a christmas tree and other decorations but christmas is not christmas for me without the belen. there was a christmas when my belen was all broken for the box were i kept it fell from the stairs. my daugther did not see the box on the stairs for she is carrying something when she went up. when i open the box the belen was broken. i didnt put any decorations until i didnt find a belen. i was glad when i found one, i bought the same set of ceramic belen.

No I don't have I don't even have a plan on putting up Christmas decoration this year. My family never spend the Christmas here in our house and I think it would be too tiring for me to put up decors as I have no helper and tend to my 3 boys. Maybe next year I will put up. I ave been trying though to make a belen before but find it hard and those little decors are not practical for me.

we do and it is a part of family tradition and I think a christma without is is not a christmas at all, in our family that is but since I don;t spend a lot of christmas with them, technically I don't.
