I prefer using Optical Mouse over Wheeled Mouse, I do not why?

I am currently using optical mouse too here at home and in my office because you do not have to clean the ball basically because there is no ball (lol) and it is more easy to use. And the optical mouse can be easily bought now on the market than the wheeled one. But I had talked to some of my office mates and they told me that they prefer to use the wheeled one when they are playing games in the computer becuse thy can control it more than the optical one which is responding faster.

same here...when i tested my first optical mouse in my first pc upgrade..i was like..wow..no ball cleaning..no mouse stuck cuz of dirt..more presition..faster movement..awww Q_Q what a dream coem true

Some times, when we are using a wheel mouse, it gets hanged up.. Then we have to open the mouse, and we have to make some adjustments. This problem is not in optical.. and thats why most of the people prefer the optical mouse over wheeled mouse......

I started to use the mouse with optical mouse.Since I have no experience in using a wheel mouse,I haven't known about the big headache of using a wheel mouse.Last month I found myself with for using a wheel mouse at one of my friends home.I wanted to throw everything away at that time.For me,It was very hard to point the exact places with the wheel mouse.
After about an hour I asked my friend to do that work with the wheel mouse for me.I saw it wasn't much hard for him .Then I started thinking,how much my optical mouse is good to me.

I have used wheeled mouse before but later replaced it with an optical mouse. Wheeled mouse is good if its new but once it gets dirt, it would tend to be hard to use. In my my experience, it is best to use optical mouse. No more cleaning and it is more precise.

I too like using the optical mouse over the wheel mouse. People generally try to use the optical mouse over ball mouse,because optical mouse is more convenient and does not cause any problems when compared to the ball mouse.by using the more optical mouse we don't get problems because the mouse hangs up any more.

I have an old mouse-ball type and it was ok to use but I hate the occasional stuck up because as we all know mouse-ball collects a lot of dust as it rolls on your mouse pad or table. I also have an optical mouse. I love how it glides effortlessly over my table but I really hate it when the mouse pointer becomes jumpy because optical mice hates glossy or shiny surfaces. I also had the experience of an optical mouse pointer rolling only to one side of the screen due to a defect I couldn't understand.:/ an effect of using shiny surfaces probably.
