how was halloween for you  

What a lovely evening you both had. I did my three younger children some party foods for their teas and then I made their faces up. My 8 year old was half werewolf and half skeleton, my 6 year old was a skeleton, and my 2 year old girl was a werewolf. To say that I had never done face painting before they did not look too bad and the face paints only cost me 99p!

Once they were painted I set up a sweetie treasure hunt that led them finally into the garden where there was a glowing pumpkin and my hubby waiting to scare them to death! Then I came back in and watched the last part of my favourite programme Most Haunted Live!

Hi, Tatty! It certainly sounds like you had a blast last night! I'm sorry you forgot your camera but can't get upset with you... I've done that so many times myself!

We didn't get one single trick-or-treater! I was hoping that we'd at least get a few, but nope, not a single goblin, ghost, witch, zombie, princess or butterfly. Not one. I'm stuck with all this candy, too! Oh, what to do, what to do? Guess I'll have to eat it all myself. Sigh!

We live in the country AND on a private road, making it a rather long trip for most trick-or-treaters. I just thought that a few who lived close by would come. I thought that at least some of the more greedy kids (or parents) would drive their kids around here because we live in a relatively well-to-do neighborhood... you know, more money, better candy! But, no. Sigh!

Next year, I guess I'll just have to 'borrow' some kids and go have fun with them. Maybe I can find a costume party someplace.

I was so upset by no trick-or-treaters that I completely forgot to take pictures of our jack-o-lanterns! I hope to do that tonight, anyway.

Usually i always have something going on on Halloween for my son and myself, however this year it was pretty darn uneventful. I'm due in a few days and haven't had the easiest time getting around lol.. So i let me son go to his dad's for Halloween this year and i sat at home with my hubby watching scary movies all night eating candy. XD It was probaly one of the most uneventful halloweens i have had thus far, but it was however relaxing.. X)

Sounds like you all had a great time Tatty. We had two little visitors about 7 o'clock and that was it! All the chocolate and stuff will just have to be given to the dog. We haven't go one, so it had better be me. Boo!

I posted a discussion last night about how my halloween was. I am certainly sure it is one that I will never forget.
It sounds like you and your grandson had a very enjoyable and nice halloween evening. I think that is the way halloween should be, without people doing mean and vicious things to others.

Sounds like you had a great time with your grandson. We had 20 kids that came to my house. The last one came at 9:00 pm.

It was okay. I stayed home, and we all had an pizza. I was glad to be home. I did not take my kids Trick Or Treating. I was glad that I did not. An 12 year old boy got killed right in the same city and state that I live in. He got killed on Wise Drive last night. It was very sad.. I remember hearing the ambulance sirens all evening long.. This could be the time when the boy was killed. This type of thing, makes me not want to let my kids go Trick or Treating at all! It is a crying shame that the boy got killed while his parents was with him. The mom stayed in the car, while the father and his siblings went to the door. This was a very sad story.. I know that the little boy will be deeply missed when school begins on Monday... Things like this makes it very hard for an parent to just trust anymore.. One bad apple can spoil it for the whole bunch!

I didn't have any special halloween.
I was at the country side with my girlfriend for 3 days, and we were totally cut from the other world.
And we have forgotten the halloweens also.. but that's nothing, because we don't celebrate that so much here in Estonia.
So my halloween time went quite good, but not with celebrating.

That sounds really fun! I celebrated halloween with my hubby having dinner with his elder brother and its family. I bought lot of candies for kids whose going to knock on our door for trick or treats. I was excited because I want to see kids with their costumes. I asked my hubby to go to any haunted houses he knew. He took me to the haunted house which took a long drive for us and it was foggy. But when we got there, it's almost done But we saw his son walking with some of his friends on costume for trick or treats. I may not have seen the haunted house though I was happy coz he tried to show me the haunted house he was telling me. I guess I have to wait for another halloween celebration again!

My halloween was awsom ... some of my cousins were here at my place and we had a lot of fun...one of my cousin scared the hell out me!!! i was there in my mom getting ready to sleep that the lites went off!!! and it was done purposly!!!! he weared a mask from which blood was coming out like hell and grabbed me from my neck...i screamed like anything...and when he realizes that i was about to cry they turnes the lights on!!! oh my god that was horrible!!!!
my halloween was horrible!!!! how about u guys????
