Is Convenience Ruining Us?  | |  I was trying to come up with a discussion on anger as It's kind of been piddle paddling around in my head. Not just anger though, all sort of emotions. I came across a discussion earlier and responded to it, and have since gotten a response back from this discussion. The content of the discussion gave me an idea and that's why this discussion is being discussed.
Do you think that convenience has ruined us? Are you more fast paced then you used to be, and impatient when it comes to waiting? I know that when I get impatient the first thing that pops into my mind is "how dare that person do that" and after my initial anger I start to realize that I don't know why the person did what they did but they may not have been trying to anger me in the process.
I know that Microwave Ovens and Fast Food Joints are a real eye opener from meals that take two days to prepare. In fact, even meals that used to take two days to prepare now only take seconds with the convenience of convection. I am a dreamer and as such wish that we could just be more simple in the way we prepare things, the way we do things.
Do you think that you have gotten a temper and then think Why did I get mad?

| | | | | | 1.  veejay19 (1099) | 1 year ago |  As you have said life has become fast-paced and everyone is in a tearing hurry to get things done as quickly as possibe.due to this people have lost the quality of patience which has resulted in anger getting the better of them.In the olden days life was more leisurely and laid back. People did not sacrifice values for wealth but today people are ready to stab each other in the back if they find it helps them to make a fortune. Unfortunately today life has become a race for survival and that is why the disparity between the rich and the poor has grown considerably.Anger and other negative emotions can be controlled by proper methods like Yoga and meditation which help to remove stress from ones life and make the mind more peaceful. I am saying this because it has helped me in controlling my anger to a great degree.

In any case, I agree that people are ready to stab each other in the back just for those fifeteen minutes of fame, or of fortune whichever their after. I have seen Yoga and Meditation and seen that it appears to help with stress. I am glad that it has helped you in your anger, I know that for myself being alone for a few minutes helps calm me down.

it save people time to cook and provide fast service to us.sometimes it make people lazy that is the thing which ruin people
McDonald is very convenience for me,7-11 too it sell alot of things which most of the time is a ready made food which save my time to eat breakfast quickly

| SomeCowgirl (8040) | 1 year ago | The thing is we are in such a hurry to get the meal that on some occasions we get angry if the place we went to doesn't have the food right, or is taking too long to make it. The problem is is that we get angry at people who are only doing their jobs, people make mistakes. I think most of the time we are in such a hurry to do something or get somewhere that we don't realize how we hurt people, even in the smallest of ways.
I like Mcdonald's all the same, and I know i've gotten mad if people don't get the order right, but I also realize it's foolish because they didn't know I was in a hurry or they didn't hear me say Extra Pickles or what not. I know my discussion is a bit confusing, I'll admit that. I hope I clarified a little bit.
I just think if we stayed at home more and prepared are breakfast for ourselves the only person we could get mad at is ourselves, and then maybe we'd see how foolish we were being for simple mistakes. | |

| genyaarikado (74) | 1 year ago | there is once i order for the delivery...the McDonald shop is just 7min walk away from home and they need 45min to send to my home..because im lazy to walk over to the outlet so i just proceed with delivery, and you know what? they gave me a wrong order! i ordered a Wasabi Fillet of Fish,they give me a Fillet of Fish which without a Wasabi in the burger!it make me angry lol | |
