I an say 'yes' to all of your questions. I do believe in the paranormal, life after death, and I have experienced strange happenings that I can't explain. I had my first experience when I was eight years old. I was trying to fall asleep late one night, especially since no one else in my house was awake. As I attempted to fall asleep, I suddenly heard my grandmother, who had passed away five years prior, calling my name several times.

Ever since, I seem to have had a lot of unusual things happen to me in the fourteen years since. Footsteps, disembodied voices of people I know talking but weren't at home at the time, growling sounds, very hard scratching against walls, knocking sounds, you name it.

Well, I don't know what others think on this subject. But, my husband and I believe in it! We have seen to much in our lives not too. I have had to many people in my family see sprits, ghost or what ever you would like to call them. Also, I live by my dreams. It never fails that when I have a dream it is usually telling me something. I even helped the cops out when I was little to catch a killer by my house. I woke-up screaming and told my dad my dream. He read in the paper about this woman who was killed. Then, he went to the cops and gave them the information from my dream. They caught the guy and found the weapon. I was glad I could help. So, yep I am a firm believer in the unknown.

Well tattylashes I have had a fascination with this from being a child, I have dabbled in things I should not have done, I have seen things that I cannot explain and things have happened to me over the years that I just cannot find rational explanations for. I could say it was paranormal, but I am such a skeptic that I just tell myself that it is down to an active imagination. I watch Most Haunted religiously, I am a huge fan of it to the point where I have actually decided that I want to work for them! But I although I cannot explain some of the things that happen to them I still just do not believe. It is a fascinating thing the paranormal.

hey tatty!! i haven't really got any stories to share, i do get a wierd feeling in my back bedroom, think there might be something a bit freaky in there!! hehe I do believe in the paranormal, although not blindly, i don't believe everything that people tell me, i think there are a lot of mediums and clairvoyants out there who do have a gift and are genuine, although i also think there are a lot of con-men (and women) around as well!! Sorry i don't have any spooky stories to share, but i'll look forward to reading everyone else's!!! big love xxx

I am open minded Tatty. I have never sen or experienced a ghost but I have "seen" shadows from the corner of my eye at times. I have also experienced an overwhelming sense of deja vu at times in places that know I have never been to in this life at least. I am trying to open my mind to such things. There are at least two mediums on this site and I have spoken to one a little about mediumship. I know people that swear blind that they have seen ghosts and those that are as vehemently certain that such things don't exist. I'm somewhere in between.

I'm a Christian so I believe that there's life after death and I do strongly believe in the existence of Jesus Christ. I was with an exorcist, and we went to a house that was reportedly having mysterious sitings of this paranormal beings. One of the house member was actually acting strange, she was at rage when we arrive. she yelled at us and drive us to go away and never comeback, but his relatives stopped and strangled her. the exorcist begin his ritual by holding her forehead and start praying. The girl looked at her with fierced eyes, that was the most terrefying eyes I've ever seen. The exorcist told us that the girl was with an evil spirit occupying her body, trough prayers and commands of the exorcist this evil spirit left the girl and she's wondering what had happen. It was so terrefying, that even as I went to sleep that day was hard for still I saw her eyes everytime I closed my mine. Then I started to pray hard and that was the only time I went to sleep. I have experienced a lot of paranormal activity around me but it was too many to write.....maybe I will try to make an article of that and submit it at my other site...thaks for sharing this discussion, you have given me a great idea.....

Hi Tattylashes, I have just signed up for your site. I am very interested in the paranormal myself and have experienced many things in my lifetime which have had no logical explanation. I believe you are aware of the Amy story and also the angel on a motorbike. Only this weekend my friend slept in my daughters/spare room and woke up to seeing orbs flying round the room in blue, mauve and green, she watched them for a while fascinated then became uncomfortable and opened up the door. My own gut feeling on this one was that she was being sent healing of some sort and there is nothing here in this house and she has stayed here many times and not witnessed anyhting. I do believe though that sometimes something passes through, a bit like an etheral doorway as one morning I did awake to see a couple in my doorway but slightly above and they appeared to be looking for something and my neighbour the other sode woke in the night to hear a little child crying for mummy so perhaps they were looking for their child. Who knows. There is just so much out there that we don't understand. I do believe we are surrounded by spiritual beings but only those that are sensitive become aware of them. Huggles. Ellie :D

My boyfriend and I believe in the paranormal.
We have had unexplained happenings. Not long ago
the drawers in the bathroom cabinet were all
opened, and last Christmas, the Christmas tree
plugged itself into the wall. Neither of us had
done either of these things. They just happened
and we couldn't explain how it had happened. We
are both avid watchers of Ghosthunters and other
paranormal shows.

I do believe in a lot of things. I've had some experiences but I try at the same time to be skeptical and keep my mind open. There are so many fakers out there. But I do believe in ghosts, spirits, demons, life after death, all of that. I love the show Ghost Hunters. I love scary shows and movies but if they're proclaiming to be the real thing, then I want them to be real and not just faking things for rating. That's why I like Ghost Hunters because I think they are for real, not faking anything, and they've done investigations and said, this place is not haunted, rather than just make something up for a good show.

Hi tattylashes. I do believe there is life after our life here on earth is finished .A lot of things have happened over a number of years,but the one I will tell you about is when Iwas looking for a home for my son and I. Went to look at one and sat in the car and looked at the house ,a voice told me that the house for rent was ours and a few days later heard we could move in.We did and life went on ,my son brought home a kitten and when I said yes you can keep it thats when I thought things became strange. Max our kitten had a playmate ,sometimes out of the corner of my eye I would see a shadow but when I turned to look there was nothing there .They would chase each other around and play fight. Sometimes there would be a strong smell of fish, bouncing on the bed and it was not max ,nothing was there.When it came time to move out our invisible friend gave us a goodbye of a last scent of a fishy smell.I had heard stories that a headless cat resided there but not sure on that one. cheers
