Where will you be putting your Christmas tree this year? |
|
I've already moved the furniture around in my living room because my tree goes in the same place every year since my apartment is very small. I have 2 windows facing the front of my house and the tree goes between them so people walking by outside can see it. Where do you put your Christmas tree? Is it the same place every year or do you change?

1. cher913 (13657) | 1 year ago | we always put our tree in our living room but decide from year to year where in the living room it will be. we have a fairly oblong room with 2 windows and it just depends where we put it. we have to move furniture to put it up but we are like you and put it in front of the window.

ctrymuziklvr (4677) | 1 year ago | I still have to move a chair and a table to put it where I want it but that's no big deal. I'm always moving my living room furniture around and when I do it in the fall I always take into consideration that the holidays are comeing!

3. luvstochat (6679) | 1 year ago | We always put our tree in the same place everyyear as we only have one place that it will actaully fit and that is in the corner of the living room. I am in no hurry to put the tree up this year as money is tight and Christmas will not be much fun this year.

4. lilybug (15328) | 1 year ago | That has yet to be determined. I have to find a place for it that my daughter will not try to knock it over. I could just see her trying to climb up it to get he ornaments off of it. Last year it was in the corner of the living room by the couch.

5. dwcorona (120) | 1 year ago | We just put some marble up around our fireplace with some wood trim, and a mirror, it's really pretty the marble is green with the white in it, and my walls are 2 different color greens, dark green on top (battle green) and a shade lighter on the bottom (thicket) I'll put the tree in there, I think it will look really pretty it's our den area and it's a outdoors kind of theme!

6. coffeebreak (4849) | 1 year ago | Since my kids are gone and have their own kids, and none of them comeo ver to my house in the month hardly at all, I stopped going through it all. If it isn't for the kids, I wouldn't bother with christmas at all! It just isn't christmas without them! But 2 years ago my 8 yo GD told me she felt bad for me that I didn't have any decorations (she was at my house twice the whole month) So last year, I got the idea to just make a little chirstmas town thing. When her mom was 3 I did a 3 foot artifical tree and she loved it so much taht every morning the first thing she did was take all the ornaments (all wooded or other non breakable) off and re-arrange them. This went on until February! I didn't take it down cause she was having so much fun every morning!
Anyway that is where I got the idea to do a small kid-friendly town - I got three 18 iunch tall trees that have those optical lights on them and and some white batting. THen I have some small ceramic house I painted and picked up a few things - and made a really nice "christmas corner". She loved it! So this year, I am watching the Joannes Craft store sales - they have really cute houses and town theme figures and all, and at 40% off - I have a coupon for that every week and they were marked that last week and I got 3 things - total $20. So I got those and they are easy to pack and store and they girls can re=arrange things if they want and there is nothing to break or electric or anything dangerous. So that is what I will be doing! no tree. I have some personal, handmade, heirloom, keepsake kind of ornaments over the years, but this will be the second year I don't get them out. I sold the rest of the stuff I had. Don't regret a single thing!

7. ersmommy1 (10471) | 1 year ago | We will be putting up ours sometime this weekend. We have a den area in the downstairs of our house. It goes in the corner. So it is the 1st thing we see when we go downstairs. Feels more homey that way.
