It's far too early for Christmas music, mind you having said that I feel sorry for the poor people who work in the store, we only have to listen to it whilst we do our shopping then we can escape, they are stuck with it, morning, noon, and evening! There is no escape, I bet they are sick to the back teeth of it come Christmas, two months solid of hearing Christmas carols? I think I'd be ready for the funny farm!

2.  jonesy123 (3254) | 1 year ago |  Here they had started to put the Christmas stuff on the shelves about two weeks ago. Yesterday we drove by a house and they had already taken down the Halloween decoration and put up an elaborate Christmas display. It just seems to start earlier and earlier. I do like the holiday music, but when the actual holiday comes around, I'm so tired of it, I can't really enjoy Christmas anymore.

But to hear it over the main sound system on 02 November seemed a bit odd. Either it's earlier than before (I don't remember hearing it until the day after Thanksgiving before!) or I'm just not recalling.

I don't think I've heard Christmas music yet in the stores. But I do feel like it's a little early. Even so, I will say that time just flies as I've aged so I do realize that, before I know it, Christmas will be here.
I guess the Christmas music is okay. I don't mind hearing it. And it can put a person in the "spirit" of the holiday, can't it?

I have not understood why, but heard something about Christmas coming sooner than usual.. don't know what they mean by that, except something about the number of shopping days being less. I have no idea what they mean by that though... it's got to be like any other year.
