OMGQ!! I'm Even More Famous than I thought!  

My dog's (Foxy Lady) vet called me this morning. I had to drive 39 miles to his office for an emergency visit last night, and after ascertaining that she was fine, he told me that he'd call me in the morning.

No country singers called, no Senators called, and nobody from Alaska called. The only other call I received all day was from my best friend who called to ask how Lady was. "She's absolutely fine," was my reply.

So, I had no dealings with the paparazzi, nothing out of the ordinary to report, but I'm happy to say that Lady is happy, and that makes my day!

I called Obama to ask him few questions. He said, Pola you are smart enough to figure it out by yourself. He also said: "I know that McCain is consulting everything with Transdisc, they are lost in space and need wise person to ask what to do."

He was right.....

I finally just cancelled my phone service and changed my email address. I can still order pizza online, so why do I need a phone anyway?

As for me I didn't get any interesting calls today I guess I am not popular. The only call I got was from my car insurance company. And they wanted to know did I forget to pay my car insurance payment. Which I did. I didn't get the statement. That is what I go buy.

Vin Diesel kept ringing last night, begging me for a date. I told him I was busy painting my toenails but he just wouldn't take no for an answer. In the end, I had to take my phone off the hook.

"I listened as patiently as I could, but he just kept blabbering, and I was very busy, so I had to hang up."

Nothing to do with anything, but your statement above reminds me of something my grandfather did a few years ago....this was about a year before he died.

Picture a 90 year old man, sitting in a chair doing NOTHING. He was just sitting there, for the longest time, doing nothing.

So, my grandmother asks him to get up and do something (I forget what she needed). He looked at her with a very straight face and said, "I'm sorry, I would really love to, but I'm very, very busy". My mother and I looked at each other and both just lost it. It was the funniest thing I think we'd ever heard him say. It was so straight faced and deadpan. He was making a joke anyway, but what made it so funny was the seriousness of the delivery.

What you said there just reminded me of it....sorry. Tangent.

Trans, I'm sorry. I know you have been dealing with this nasty paparazzi stuff for a long time. Problem is, you can run, but you can't hide. I suspect Palin wanted to know if you liked her glasses. Your opinion is usually make or break in celeb decision making. If you don't like them, I imagine she'll stop wearing them and stop letting stores use her name to sell them.

The only people that bug me are my employees and in two days, I'll be unemployed.

Fortunately for me, they all think I've been laid off - like so many others lately. But, since I'm fortunate enough to still have a job, they have to talk to my "personal assistant" (as my husband calls our answering machine). Eh, I just hit the ERASE button. But if they figured out that I did have a job and worked hard for my money (and 401(k) ) then I have to hang up on them myself at night...
