A healthy breakfast is the best way to start off our day. Studies shows that children who eat breakfast can do better in their studies and other activities. When you skip breakfast you are likely to become tired because your brain and body needs fuel to run. Some people are skipping their breakfast for weight loses. In fact people who eat breakfast will be able to maintain their weight. If you have a healthy breakfast that contains protein and fiber will helps you to stay healthy.

So have your breakfast everyday and be good to yourself.

i will skip the breakfast if i am getting up late and there is no breakfast to buy.i know the habit is bad for your health,but it is no way to do it.i dont want to do lose or i dont have money,that is because i am sleeping late at night.so i will be late mornimg.it is the internet makes it wrong.

happyI understand the situation. Sometimes getting late for office, so can only give up our own needs. Most of the people are skipping breakfast but they don't want to save money but for saving time.

I totally agree with you that the most important meal is the breakfast. From the term "break fast", it means you're breaking the fasting you've done when you slept the whole night. I don't appreciate people who skip breakfast. One of these days, it will cause them ulcer and they will definitely suffer, and will spend much to cure themselves. happy

I agree that skipping breakfast leads to stomach ulcer. Starving leads to acidity and finally to stomach ulcer.

I agree. Not eating breakfast can lead to hyperacidity then to ulcers. In our stomach one of the chemical that help digest the food or it helps kill the bacteria that we have eaten is the HYDROCHLORIC ACID which is 100%, then if we will have empty stomach will destroy the lining of the stomach which lead to ulcers.

I do not have a heavy breakfast. It is just two slices of bread with a cup of tea every morning. I am too much in a hurry to come to work to think of making anything else for my breakfast in the mornings.

But you are not skipping your breakfast that is good. I think a heavy breakfast is recommendable but if you are in a hurry then stick to the normal one.

I am sure that breakfast is good for you and I do ensure my kids have breakfast before going to school. However, my stomach can not face food until I have been awake for a few hours. I tend to have my first food of the day at morning tea time.

It is nice to know that you ensure about your kid's breakfast. They really need a healthy breakfast for doing good in school. I think most of the people can't eat breakfast immediately after the sleep. But you don't skip it that is the good point.

i would say 80 to 85 percent of the time i would eat my breakfast. The only reason why i wouldnt eat it i was in a hurry or late for something

Hi dear
i never skip break fast either when i was in hostel or at home
at home their is rarechance as my mom make break fast for me, even now i am doing job, morning break fast is always at table in my parents room, so no chance to skip any, either in hurry or nothappy

Though i dont each muchin morning
other thing i dont believe in skipping meals rather control the qttywink

So Sree I hope you got the point...Most people skip their meals once a day to control their diet,but dear cupid here will have nothing of the sort...He eats to his hearts content every day and goes on a fast for Ramzan for a month at a stretch to shed his extra baggage,and tries to become trim and fit...He is a perfectionist in every way and does not believe in half measures...... happythumbup

Rose, I understanding him slowly. Yesterday he proved that he doesn't have sense now he saying that he is a big eater. Let him enjoy the eating habit.


And Cupid ji, I agree that people are eating more on their fast. One of my neighbour, she gained weight after the Navaratra fast, you know how, by eating large amount of potatoes with curd.

Breakfast is so important to get the metabolism going in the morning. It doesn't have to take time to fix breakfast. Just keep some fruit in the house and grab in on the run. I also make lots of homemade vegtable soup and heat that for my breakfast. It's much healthier than rolls, muffins and most cold cereal.
If you need to lose weight drink some yerba mate tea each day.

I totally agree with Wujinbo, who commented above me..
Time is the main reason for unable to have my breakfast.i recently said about this to my wonderful sweet relation, who is so special to me. she became much angry and told me not do continue this again. i promised that very soon, i will change this habit of skipping off my breakfast!

Hi Sreekala, I hardly have time for breakfast on weekdays. It's usually a cup of hot black coffee to wake me up, and then I have to rush out. So far, it's been fine for me - my lunch is usually at noon.
On weekends, I have the time to enjoy my breakfast, if I can wake up early. happy

I not really skip breakfast everyday,it depends if i wake up middle in the morning so i just make one mean the breakfast and dinner.I know that it will have a great effect in my daily activity especially at school,i am deteriorating and easily tired so i dont want to skip meals anymore now.i am more conscious of my health right now,because i know what will be the consequences of it.
