California BANNED Gay Marriage AGAIN!!

Yeah me too, found out saturday night they had a sign in their front yard for voting yes about it and my mom had even called people to try and get them to vote yes on it. When its stuff like that and politics and paganism and all that, I dont even try talking to them about it, just make uh huh yeah ok really types of comments when they bring something up. They will go on and on about how its a sin and all that crap. No way in hell im going to tell them im pagan, I can imagine the uproar then lol.

god our lives couldnt be more similar in that area lol sigh.. how did we come from that ignorance?

We woke up from our brainwashing? Hell I can still remember the day I fought free lol. I was 7 or 8 and was on my way to becoming a fundie*shudders* I didnt know anything else, had gotten saved because I really wanted to when I was, and not just because anyone told me, had even gotten baptized. Anyone who would listen I would tell them how great god was and if you were a sinner you were going to hell and all that crap. My parents have always gone to churches where they sing, dance, speak in tongues, and even run around the church dancing. Well one night they were all doing that, I wanted to join them. One of the ushers stopped me and said this is not a time to play I needed to stay in my seat with the other kids and not mess around. I said to him but im not I want to praise the lord just like the adults, he says dont lie to him im to young for that I just want to play, and made me sit down. That was the first time I questioned anything at all.

i was weird growing up.. i was saved at 6 because my parents literally told me that god was going to take them (rapture) at any minute and i would be an orphan so i either did it or i would be left alone since every one i knew would be gone.. but i REFUSED to be baptize.. i have no idea but i would NOT do it and my dad baptized a lot of people so im surprised i got to dodge it lol.. we lived in this cult type community till i was 14 and they uprooted me from florida to tn.. ruined my life as far as happiness since every one here is um not my type.. they joined a really laid back church and i got involved in it but my dad had a fight and so he left and tried to get me to abandon my friends there.. i stayed and of course then my parents wanted me to not have friends because they were all freaks, bi's, gangs etc so it was funny that in their eyes the worst thing they probably did was let me go to that church.. but i finally got to learn about the world.. got married at 17 and stopped going to church at 23 i think.. i had pretty much stopped going anyways but my dad had just gotten a church and i was being a good lil supportive daughter and would show up.. pastors can get kicked out if their family refuses to attend and all..

Wow, my parents were part of a cult for a little while, but was before I was born. Yeah I did my share of hanging out with freaks gangs and all that too for awhile lol, my parents didnt know, and still dont, about half of what I did or who I hung out with lol. Hmmm I didnt know a pastor can get kicked out if their family doesnt attend church, that would suck.

Damn, that sucks and so stupid they would believe him like that.

how many times are they going to vote on it already though? i mean if it passes it passes and should be left alone.. same with abortion.. obviously if i wasnt happy with what had passed i would want a re-vote but i think that at most things should be re-voted on like once.. or they should spread some years between them or something.. this thing has flip flopped back and forth the past couple of years.. its exhausting!!

i dont understand the hate that people have in this world for things they dont understand!!

god how horrible to be doing that to adoptions too.. they should be able to vote on things like 2x and thats it!! maybe not even that much since it seems like they get the law right the first time then go back and screw it up!!

I completely agree.
Religion is brought it when it suits a persons purpose.

i think religion shouldnt be allowed to be taken into consideration on anything.. people should be able to have their faith.. their churches (if applicable) and then thats it.. none of this religion in schools or politics bs.. although i always find it funny when ever it shows up in politics especially against gays in the past a few of the big politicians talking about how horrible homosexuality is get caught with their pants down with some one of the same gender later on

i dont think any one knows right now.. im sure we will hear some thing soon since a lot of celebrities were happy they finally got to marry so they should be speaking up soon if not already
