 My mother used to cover my brother and me with Noxema Skin Cream if we got sun burned. It made us feel a lot better, and the skin healed well. When I was 16, I washed my teenage face with Noxema; any girl with problem skin did, in the 60's. Here are some different uses for a great old product:
1. Try rubbing Noxema into patent leather shoes, with a soft cloth, to remove scuff marks.
2. Remove paint and stains from your hands; and Noxema is easier on your skin than turpentine.
3. Noxema takes the itch out of insect bites.
4. Remove gum from hair or carpeting by rubbing Noxema into the gummy area.

2.  lilybug (15312) | 1 year ago |  I have used Noxzema on a sunburn before. My sister put it all over my shoulders once when I was about 7 when I got a bad sunburn and I have used it quite a few times since then. I have a jar of it in the shower and I use it on my face when I shower too.

I had no idea that good old noxema could have such practical uses.

I still love this stuff on a sunburn, even the smell of it reminds me of the beach, since that is where we used it. Being a redhead, I burn all the time.
