Laura Bush: Your Thoughts?  

hi rjscott...i've always thot that laura bush was a classy lady. and very nice looking as well. and now michelle obama also seems have class. so we will have another first lady that should do her job well. and with little kids, whew. a good work out for her.

she does seem like a nice person. how she has lived w/him i'll never know. at least she has kept her mouth closed. u can't say that for the senior mrs. bush. i use to like her but after w. became president i could see from her where he got some of his bull. i don't know how laura puts up w/both of them. did u see him tear up on the news tonight. poor baby, i hope he gets what's coming to him someday. i'm a firm believer in the old saying what goes around comes around.

I think your right. She has been a silent rock, a great support, a quiet in a storm of controversy. She does appear to be a classic woman with a level head in spite of her choice in husband. I think I could put up with alot from a hubby to become a first lady and have that kind of opportunity. Also, it says something for her character to have dealth with him for all these years. It shows her morals and values on marriage are solid and strong when we are faced with so much disturbing behavior where the marriage is concerned. Also, it does appear that he loves her, as he has always looked at her very lovingly. Maybe he is a different person in a marriage than he is in a white house. Anyhoo, she does seem to be a good soul and I only hope to see that again. Hillary was a powerhouse and pretty much did her own thing, but Laura was a follower of her husband. What do you see for the next first lady? Gucci, Dolce & Gabbana? I wonder...

She never looked ruffled. She exuded class. If you look at all the news videos or photographs, she always looked dignified. And she looks more approachable and "motherly" compared to Hillary before her. Kinda surprising for someone like her to fall for someone like Dubya. Ahaha! You're right, rj. Love is indeed blind. I actually have not read a word about her nor do I have any idea of what she's like. She seems to have wonderful hair, though. I can't imagine why wonderful women marry horrible men. Like Hillary, staying with Bill even after he cheated a million times.. well, I don't like Hillary, but still, I would have kicked him to the curb before he could have imagined he would be president.

Different people hold different opinions.Apparently Laura Bush has own some eulogies and critisms among numbers of people ,in public! Yes she is gracious ,pleasant..
But do we really know her,pravitly?Do we really know what's she like in person?
We can't judge some one only by the media reports,like pop stars.
We should be objective.

It was always obvious that Mrs Laura Bush is a devoted kind of lady and I admire that in women.
Its a rare quality these days.
You also can't fault George too much for his politics.
So his plans didn't work - why hate him so much ?
If they worked everyone would have such a different opinion.
What if Obama meets with similar disasters ?
Think about that !
