How would you feel if you dont get responses for your discussions  

Well i might feel a bit jaded but lucky most of my discussion there are response yea .

I had one discussion that did not get any responses and that was the very first discussion that I had ever started. I had a low posting score as well and I think that did not help. I was a bit discouraged though when no one responded and it made me feel that no one liked me, so I did not post another discussion until my score had gone up some and from then all my discussions were responded too. I think you should just keep trying and as you become more familiar on here then people will start to recognise you and will come and respond.

I don't want to sound so pathetic but every time I don't receive any response from the discussion I started I really feel sad. I felt that the discussion I started was ignored, though I know there's a reason behind which is the topic I choose does not have any logic and can't get any attention...

I know how you feel. It happened to me as well and I feel so frustrated about it and sad. I also started the same discussion about that few days ago and I receive 12 responses. Sometimes, we do not know what to post and how to make it interesting to others. Each person is unique. My interest is different from yours. so I cannot blame other people here if they do not like my discussion. Have a nice day!

I've never had that problem, and doubt that I ever will. I have several hundred friends, so even if the discussions isn't all that fascinating, SOMEONE will comment from a number of friends that large.

Make sure to put your discussion in the appropriate interest area, make it something that people can comment on, don't just make a statement. Ask a question, ask for opinions, etc.

And most importantly, have a boatload of friends! (More about how all that works on my profile).

I had never had this problem as well. The least number of response in the discussions that I started is one. And I was happy about it. I guess it really happens here in myLot. I know that if ever it happens to me, I will get sad at first but I will get over it soon. I have seen a lot of old discussions here with zero response and I think one day it will happen to me too. Actually, I think that there is zero response in some discussions because they have been discussed before. What we can do is always try to come up with unique topics to talk about.

That's true some of my discussion has no response yet. I'm just observing what the real score with this blogging. What will be the best discussion I can ask and be on top discussion. I'll be happy to see it. Thanks for asking.

If I would compare my performance/participation few months when I am just starting and as of now, I seem to be active before than now, my discussions are all answered, i think every discussions would yield a minimum of 3 responses to more than 30 responses. But since I am, I seem to receive few responses on my discussions. It made me feel bad/sad at times, but then I am thinking that maybe my discussion is not that interesting as what others have posted. it gives me energy to think of a quality discussion to be able to get lots of responses.

When I post a discussion I so very much hope to get responses for it. I haven't had any responses for some discussions that I have started and this made me feel sad. I started two travel discussions and the first one got one response and the second didn't get any responses. I felt that not getting any responses was a shame. I don't often have ideas for starting discussions but when I do I feel delighted when I get responses. Just one response is fine and more than that is excellent. Maybe I should put more tags on to my discussions that haven't yet had any responses. The quality can't be changed because doesn't allow editing. My Lot is still really enjoyable even if I don't get a response for some discussions that I begin.

Maybe you should try to improve your writing, like make good paragraph indentations. This is basic, but from this discussion you started, it is hard to read because you only make one long continuous paragraph, no punctuations, and capitalization. It's hard to read.
