Did you know who was the first human who made a joke?

I think it was either Adam or Eve. Making jokes is as old as communication itself (and that comes before what we call language, even).

I know of many animals who 'make jokes'. It is part of play to pretend that something is what it is not and all of the so called 'higher' animals do it. The simple game of hide-and-seek or hiding in order to jump out and surprise someone is an obvious example of a simple joke that you will find wherever animals play.

I guess that is one thing we cant trace back. I guess human start to make jokes ever since the Adam and Eve time, just that it was not mention in any history book or not even in the bible.
