Hi Mylotters,

a short discussion regarding cellphones.

do you remember your first cellphone? when was that? at present what is you cellphone model?

the purpose of this is just to see who among the fellow mylotters have owned the oldest phone unit?

mine was MOTOROLA T2288 ( i dont know if the model is right it is the one with anthenna - hahaha and the color available that time is purple, blue and green ) i purchased that year 2000, it is with me right now but i am not using it the battery is expensive. my 2nd phone is NOKIA 3210 it is still with me now and doing well. now my phone is NOKIA 3120 i bough it three years back it is still with me too.

i have plans of getting a new one but my bf gave me a N72 (Finland) as birthday gift!

My first ever cellphone was a Bosch 908 in year 1999. I was still in college then and it was an advanced college graduation gift from my parents. I really liked it because it was so small and light. It was a flip-top cellphone too. I miss it now. sad

I could still remember my first phone from 9 years ago. It was a black Nokia 5110. I've been through a lot of phones over the past few years. I am now using a Nokia N95. It's been a long time since my first phone but I will never forget that phone.

My first cellphone was a brand name under Motorola (if I can remember well). I don't like throwing away older models (I know the marketing effects happy)...

Oh, mine was a Nokia 5110. That was in 1999. I bought it for Php8,000 and the SIM card cost me around Php500. Imagine that! Unfortunately, I lot it to a snatcher five months later. The next unit I bought was a Nokia 3210. It's still with me now. I think the old models are actually more durable than the new ones.

wow! its too much at that time. now you can buy a sim card for only Php50 or even less. you are right old models are more durable. i also have 3210 and it is still working until now it is almost 6 years old.

My first cellphone was a Nokia 2110, its one of first model with SMS features, I had with back 1996 when I was in college. Back then, texting was not yet well-known and most of the models have one-liner screen. Mine had 3 lines. Of the whole freshmen batch only 2 of us has that so we are the only ones texting each other... hehehe... then I got a Nokia 5110, then a Nokia 3210, a Nokia 3310, Nokia 8210, Nokia 6110 (my first colored unit), Nokia 5210, Nokia 2100, a Nokia model I cnt remember, the one with disco lights on the side...as you can notice am beginning to care less about the model and styles as I grow older... now am using a Samsung unit which I also do not know the model hehe. Wow, made me realize that I have already changed units so many times hehe
