Alright, who stole all of my lighters this time?  

It was not me. I swear. Even as little as a year ago it might have been but since fully quitting smoking I have no need for lighters.

Just stop looking and you will find at least one. That is what always worked for me. Luckily I live with two smokers so I was never without a lighter even when I really was.

LOL, this reminds me of when I was younger. I worked at a local bar as a manager. After closing on the weekends we would have amazing house parties. Well a few of the bouncers were single guys and they all lived together. One of them was always losing his lighters and then taking other people's. If he borrowed a lite for his cig you had to either light it for him or remind him after it was lit to give the lighter back. Well apparently this guy lost all of his lighters, then lost all of his room mates lighters and would tear through the house trying to find a lighter. One of the other guys decided to play a trick on him. He purchased several packages of lighters from the dollar store that contained at least ten lighters. He placed these lighters all over the house just for the other guy. The expression on his face as he walked through the house in his hang over stupor was hilarious as he discovered all of the lighters. It does not sound as funny now I guess you had to be there to enjoy it. AT the time it was hilarious. Good luck with the velcro deal!

I used to have this problem when I was married, and my ex and both step-sons were smokers. I solved the problem by declaring that from henceforth, everyone had to pick a color; all black lighters would now belong to me, no matter who had purchased them. Anyone found in my house in possession of a black lighter would have to turn it over, whether they lived there or not. Now, while that is a bit extreme, it did work, and my lighters stopped disappearing; in fact, I wound up with an over-abundance of them.

I am not sure about you but my lighters are always gone as well but my spouse always takes mine. He will leave the house with every lighter in the house. I try to keep one in all of my pockets so that he can not take them....

When I used to smoke, someone made me a lighter holder on a chain. It was really pretty, but it made me feel foolish. Instead of wearing it, I hung it on the door handle of my closet. I could use it without removing it from the holder, so there as always a lighter in it. Then, when the evil spirits that eat lighters had had their fill throughout my house, I still knew where I could find one!

It was not me!!! I have not smoked for 3 months. Mind you I carry a lighter in my handbag in case my partner loses his. I have noticed that lighters always disappear. It is something to do with taking a lighter with you so instead of leaving the lighter where you found it as you were supposed to you take it with you and forget.

Then in no time you have lighters in a pile all in the same place, like the computer table. Just a suggestion and yes I am saying that you misplaced them. I can say that because I do not smoke any more. hahahahaha
