Apple users, what do you think of the new line up?  |

 Hey Applers all around. Did you see the new line up earlier this month? New macbook and macbook pros. pretty nifty. Glass trackpads, no more click button. All glossy screen. Oh yea, they got rid of the DVI port. Now you need that proprietorial adapter. I am an avid apple user. Just curious about what you guys think. Lots more info about this new line up, I will leave it up to you guys too talk about it some more.

I used to be an avid Apple user until a few years ago when I moved to close to the edge of the earth and didn't have an internet service provider that allowed me to use a Mac platform. Sadly, I had to get a Windows based computer.
I have been watching the new Apple machines that are being released with great interest. I just may have to revert back to a Mac now that my internet service provider has changed.

I think i remember reading that they got rid of the firewire ports. Thats a good move in a way, because it is rarely used, but I use mine all the time. My firewire 800 port is used for one of my external harddrives. almost twice the speed as USB 2.0. There are a few other downsides. At least they look really cool. Apple is good at that

| sabian1415 (25) | 1 year ago | In my opinion Apple is the best. Windows is very popular and widely used. But for the average user, i believe apple beats all. Gaming and corporations on the other hand, windows is more established, but times change. who knows what the future will hold...

| 3. crandr (69) | 1 year ago |  I actually don't know much about macs. I use a PC at school. The only experiences i've had with macs are in classes. I learned some things about macs in my media arts class this year at college. I also used macs back in 4th grade in the computer lab at school. I played oregon trail and dinopark tycoon. Fun games. But that was back when macs weren't any good. Now they are good. go apple with a snapple.

| 4. blueicedj (17) | 1 year ago |  The new lineup looks amazing. The loss of DVI kind of sucks, but I can get past it. The glass trackpad intrigues me. I like that they went away with the "one button" thing, even though the whole trackpad is a button, you can set it to be two. The only think that concerns me is the glossy screen. I think I'd be fine with it, but I know a lot of pro users would want a matte screen. Heck, I even want the option...and it seems like apple is doing away with any matte screens...
But I have envy for anyone who has one...I'm stuck on my HP laptop...I do have an imac, but I can't take that to my classes...
