Are you safer with guns in the house?  | |  Recently iin the news a licensed firearm holder accidentally killed his daughter on her eighteenth birthday .He was running to rescue her form a potential robbers as they were coming home form her birthday party when he slipped (or so it was reported ) and shot her.That incident among other has riased the issue of gun control and safety again.
Do you believe that people are likely to resort to non violent means of resolution if they knew they didnt have a gun?

I have had a rifle when I was younger and it was used for hunting, but I got rid of it since I do not hunt for a very long time.. How be we use our house or mobile phones and ring the police if we need help? and put an alarm in our homes if we feel insecure? Or have a dog?
we have no sense of right to bear arms or to need them.. Hence we dont have the incredible problem with weapon crimes either. NEVER would I feel safer with a gun. It is a risk.. a big one!
