Remember Leave It To Beaver?  |

|  If you're not old enough to remember the original black and white series about the Cleaver family, popular back in the 1950's, you've probably seen episodes on TVLand, from time to time.
A newspaper article today stated that Tony Dow, who played Wally, Beaver's older brother in the tv series, is having one of his abstract sculptures displayed at the Louvre Art Museum in Paris.
The exhibition Dow's work will be featured in is Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts, one of the most prestigious juried art shows.
Dow has worked as a director and visual effects producer on several TV shows, but painting and sculpting has been his chief interest and occupation since the old "Leave It To Beaver" days.
Did anyone realize that "Wally" was, at the time of his tv appearances, a budding young artist?

| |  I for one did not realize this. That is neat to know, that TV child stars can grow up to do such neat things. I think it will be really cool to see when we finally have pictures of it available on the internet. I will keep my eyes open in hopes someone or some news agency posts it.

| |  I still watch Leave It To Beaver on TVLand. I love that show.
I did not know what happen to any of the actors, and had no idea that Wally (Tony Dow) was an artist. I would like to see some of his work.
