Pink and blue make green, do you think this is true?

I have always had a good respect for the environment, but not a guilt complex. I believe that doing what you can to help is important. That is not to say that I am perfectly green, but reasonably supportive of environmental responsibility. I believe we can go overboard in brow beating the kids in school.

Playing the guilty card will never work... i believe that teaching children how they can help in their own simple way it the best way to save or preserve the environment...

It is so immature to tell innocent kids that they are destroying earth by their selfish ways... i would never say that to my own daughter or future kids...

Now, I recycle what I can not because I think I can save the earth, but I do know that land fills can only hold so much. I would hope that by keeping what I can out of them, they might last a bit longer. And if they do reuse the plastics, that much less oil might be imported - good in my book!

I'm glad I don't have to worry about any kids of mine being indoctonated, because I didn't have any.

Not because there are too many people on the planet (tho there are too many bad parents) but because I didn't need to pass on my lousy genetic material - better it stopped with me.

There are all kinds of reasons people shouldn't be allowed to breed (and sadly too many that shouldn't are breeding ARE) but at least I didn't pass on my allergies and migraines.

But anyways, we're actually headed towards global cooling and the earth does everything in cycles every few thousand (or millions?) years and there's really not a whole lot you can do about it!

However, I do think recycling is a good idea - I don't really like the idea of landfills! Plus, if we can reuse something, that's a lot better than it just going to waste.

The whole point is that these global warmers are telling children is the only way to save the earth is to not have any children when they are old enough. So this is a culture of death. You tell a child that he is destroying the earth, and he will think of suicide. A child tells me I should recycle and I think he is a no it all. In fact, since he is so smart, he should quit school and get a job.
By the way, I do recycle, but that is because it is cheaper to dump the kitchen waste on my compost pile, and I do not like extra papers around in the house.
And this saving the planet is worshiping of nature. I do not worship nature nor a mother goddess. I worship God and HE made man a steward of the earth, not some bloody environmentalist.

Now, if you're not part of the solution you're part of the problem.
I don't believe just one person can cause environmental problems.
I always believe we are going through climate change.
Has man hasted the process? I think so. But I think this planet was destined to change over time anyway.

Sorry,but I'm just not getting my head around the pink and blue references you mentioned here..Should I take that to mean You're referring to your environmentally friendly recyclable packaging materials in your area being colour coded or something?

I dun really save mother earth.. Instead, i try to protect or al least minimise my damage to mother earth.. lol=D For, whatever we do affects mother earth, andin turns, mother earth shows its rages to us humans.. SO in the end, we are still the ones suffering all those natural diasters.. ANd so, why should we inflict pain and damage to ourselves for just a little bit of comfort? haha

I agree that kids should learn to be respectful of our planet and all but to be blaming them for it is ridiculous. I am 52 and I remember as a child walking and picking up more litter than you can imagine. That is not to mention all the factories and other things that those before even me were doing to destroy our planet. It can't be blamed on the kids of today for sure. This mess is not their fault but they should be educated so as not to continue the process or add to it. oh...and guilt is never a good motivater.
