what a weekend!  

i had one of the worst weekends i have had in a while. seems that my boyfriend and i have both been worked hard lately and felt really lazy. i have been feeling ignored and neglected by my love. after letting him know how i felt we decided to take the coffee house gift cards i have earned from online surveys and go on a date instead of selling them for cash. friday we would do the normal banking trip. planned on doing the shopping on saturday after our mid day date. and sunday we were gonna go to church( been trying to get in a regular habit of that instead of the sporadic visits we are used to).

should have worked beautifully!

friday went as planned. saturday we go up out of bed much later that we planned, but on with the schedule... we stopped to sell some books so i could find the book that have been waiting for. was digging things out of the back seat and the wind slammed the door on my knee. oh man it hurt. i wanted to cry so freaking bad. i did my best to ignore the pain. we sold the books, but they didnt have the one i wanted. went to the coffee house and it was packed with a line going out the door. so we drove 45 min to another town to another of the shop. not as packed. we went in and had a nice meal. some footsie and flirting but my knee was swelling fast and i couldnt hide the pain any longer, we went home without the groceries. sunday i could hardly walk so church was out of the question. we did go to the store to get groceries and the pain in my knee was excruciating. i had talked to my parents on the phone that day and they had some groceries that they wouldnt use and i would so we stopped there. they had a knee brace too. that helped so much. my love fixed me dinner, and i spend the whole rest of the night with my leg propped.

i suppose it could have went worse, but come on. we only have date night about twice a year and it just had to be ruined.

ok i will stop complaining before i end up breaking something.
