j - e - t - s!!!  | |  Would you believe the Jets got past the Pats? Even without Brady the Pats are a formidable team. The Jets have had relatively decent talent since the Bill Parcels days (affectionately known as "Da Tuna"). He is one of my favorite coaches. Now that he's VP of Football Ops in Miami watch out. Miami will be knocking on the door of the Superbowl in a couple of years. But now, the Jets may be knocking on that same door by leading one of the toughest divisions in the NFL. But the real test is next week against the Titans, who will try to do what the Pats did last year and the Dolphins did in '72.
A big thanks to Da Tuna and Pete Carroll for giving the Jets direction during their respective tenures...

If they still had Chad Pennington, they probably would of been something like 4-6 right now. I am not surprised at all they got past the Patriots. Without Brady, the Patriots are just a good team instead of one of the best teams in the league. The Jets have to be the favorite to win the division and make the playoffs.

Now the analysts are seeing the impact a quality veteran can have on a team. As I said before, the Jets always had the talent. With Farve now they have the experience and leadership needed to make an impact. | |
