| | | | | | 1.  photographygirl73 (1982) | 1 year ago | It's funny you should ask this question because I was just telling a friend of mine not too long ago that although I was born & raised in Brooklyn, NY I never went to see any of the places that make NY so famous. I never got to visit the Twin Towers & of course now I never will. I never went to the Empire State Building, or the Statue of Liberty, or any of the many other places that most torrists go to. I would like to go to the Art Museum again. I went there just before I moved to KY(where I lived after NY)& it was great, almost like a dream come true...I got to see the real & actual paintings of some of greatest artisits in history such as Monet & Renoir. I would love to go to the art musem again. I also heard they have a Wax Museum in NY now. They didn't have that when I lived there. I would love to go there. I never been to any wax museum ever. Sometimes I miss NY & I would love to go back for a visit, but my husband has no desire to ever visit NY so I probably wont ever get to see any of those places that I mentioned above....Oh well...(sigh). | |

1) If you come during Christmas time, you should definitely see the New York City Christmas tree!
2) Go ice skating at rocker feller center!
3) See the rockettes!
4) See any show on broadway!
5) Go to TRL!
6) See the big Toys R Us toy store and put your child on the ferris wheel!
7) Check out the museums such as the metropolitan museum!
8) If you like poetry, check out some of the poetry readings
9) See a movie in the New York city movie/film theaters
10) Check out a jazz club!
Sometimes there is even some stuff you can do for free! (aside from seeing the Christmas tree!)
1) Sometimes there are free concerts
2) Sometimes even a free play!
3) Fairs/parades (sometimes you will have to pay for the stuff like souvenirs but if you don't want souvenirs you can go there just to spend the day with your family, friends, and/or loved ones)
