Do you use calculator or mind for simple mathematics?

I oftenfeel complicated in using calculators or any instrument for calculating for long calculation. I need to calculate two or three times on a calculator bcoz i always make a mistake in making calculatin on calculator.
I normlly prefer doing mind calculation's, as i feel it easy and confortable. And i have confidence over me. It takes me quite less time for doing mind calculations. Beside's this i feel quite fun in doing mind calculation. Ienjoy. Me and my friends often when sit for together studies doing maths, we make competition who makes the fast calculation. It a type of game which imprves our mind sharpness. It just requires a little habit.

For simple calculations in the middle of more complicated ones I try not use the calculator as it is faster this way and I can save always a few steps.

as much as possible,i refrain from using calculator.using one's mind when calculating will make it sharper all the more i think.my mother does this too in our store.that's why her mind is still active right now for her age.she seldom forgets something too which is a good sign.

i am horrible at math. unless its very simple addition or subtraction, i just cant do it in my head. so calculators are a must for me lol!

in school i gave math my best effort and still could barely pull a D the first semester or algebra. failed the second semester lol! oddly enough i did get straight A's in geometry..but thats cause we were able to use those fancy smancy calculators that can do the equations and stuff! man i loved that calculator lol!

I generally just figure out calculations in my mind. When things get a little more complicated then I use a calculator or a spreadsheet like excel. Cheers!!

Never use calculator at all,even it is very difficult calculation,
i am very good at mathematics and i never bought any calculator so i dont use it heheheh,i do it by my hand or use mind

yeah...we must use our mind as frequently as possible we should not go for calculator at all unless we have a time or quality constraint and that too only for difficult calculations

I just use my mind for simple mathematics, I only use calculator for big numbers or serries of amount to be solved. If you'll be used to using calculator even in simple math, you'll be losing your confidence in using your mind to which you'd been doing before. As long as you memorized the multiplication table, it's just easty to relate simple addition, deduction or division...

I normally do not use calculator, till am required to do some lengthy calculations. I am not used to is, I can do the calculation mentally most of the time. Last year I was on a training, related some 'accounts' work, where we were required to use calculator, I used to feel uncomfortable using it.
