For what specific things or incidents do you usually thank your friends?  | |  I am a very grateful person and I easily recognizes other people's efforts and expresses this gratefulness immediately as soon as they crop up. Mostly though these are not for the things given me...most are for the times they spent with me...for the bonding....for very simple note of care...for a call...for a pat on the back or for just having someone to listen to my woes, my pains, my successes and my joys...my trials...my line always says:"Thank you for being my friend, thanks for the happiness".... The day we start taking the little things for granted is the day those little things may not be given as freely, and as often. It's important to recognize even the smallest gestures of kindness, and acknowledge them. Usually, the small gestures are more important than the big gifts; and the big gifts are easier to come by.
