| 2. benallos (86) | 1 year ago | I have a friend who learns programming by himself. He reads books and references about what language he wants to learn such as php, visual basic, java, Visual C++, and many more. If you really are interested to learn programming, you can do it by yourself even though you have not taken any computer courses.

6. GADHISUNU (1154) | 1 year ago | Choose a language of yur interest and buy a good book and you can learn programming by following through the book. I did that and am successfully doing that even today. Yo could start with Visual Basic. You could start with the Blackbook. Programming is better learnt by doing, rather than reading about it. There are a few concepts that must sit well in the mind. If you are too much of a Novice it would do well to learn a bit of theory of the concepts behind programming,a nd then move on. I take it that you have a logical mind and can do some simple math and algebraic reasoning.

Because i believe while u modified the code, you will learn somethings and i believe you can learn more faster.

| 9. codemonkey (79) | 1 year ago | Well I don't know where you're from and how the education system works there but I can definitely say you can teach yourself programming. I taught myself as a kid. I ended up doing that as my degree and now I'm a programmer. It is easy to spot a person with talent and experience even if they don't have qualifications. Study hard, practise hard. Learn a decent language inside out. Write a good project so you have something to write on your covering letter or personal statement and to talk about in interviews. Your knowledge and passion will be obvious and you'll get to study a computing subject at uni. Good luck.

| 10. jitendrakumarsingh (32) | 12 months ago | Ya! you can Learn programing being at your Home and without any Problem. I personally suggest you to start from the basic Language C.That will help you to learn the basic aspects of programing. Just purchase a book from Market.Or download any of the book from Internet. search it on google. If your are going to download use the "Thinking in C:Foundation for Java and C++ by Chuck Allison".This will help you as it is in the lecture form. A 45 min lecture each in audio/text format.search it on google and download it. it is in the HTML form but could not work with Internet Explorer. It works with Firefox..........
I think this will help you.........
