If you shop on Black Friday...

When we go shopping we shop for gifts and to stock up on things that we could use or need in the future. We did find some toaster overs and other things are really cheap prices last year. That was nice especially since I was able to use them while at college. We did buy some gifts though. It's nice being able to shop for what we need at steep discounts and buy gifts are deep discounts too. It really helps.

I dont usually buy myself things, since im on a limited budget around christmas. However I dont think that it is a crime to buy yourself something nice on black friday. Its your money and like you said the stores dont care who their items are for, just that they are selling them, esp now that the economy is so bad. Im hoping that for that reason this black friday will have some of the lowest prices, since stores really need to sell things to stay in business. Well anyway, good luck with the deals, and buy yourself something nice. Dont listen to what snotty girls have to say.

This young lady really did not have a clue as to the world of retail. If you want to shop on Black Friday it is up to you and you can buy for whoever you want to buy for. I know people who buy Valentines presents on Black Friday and/or birthday presents for January and Februrary birthdays. I have never had that day off of work as it was never a holiday for anyplace i ever worked. People think that is strange since I have worked for 40 years now. This year will be my first time not having to work on Black Friday but I will probably stay home or grocery shop.
