How is your power bill?

My power bill also went down this month - thank goodness!

Since we no longer have to use the air conditioner, ours too went down. Our winter bill is much less than our summer bill.

My last months light bill was almost two hundred dollars. I got this months light bill today and it was only a hundred dollars. I am so glad. I have been doing a lot to try to get it down. That and the winter months are upon us so we don't have to use our air condition as much. Now the problem will be the gas bill.

My electric bill went down a little bit also. There will not be a whole lot of change since we have alot of Christmas lights up right now. We only turn the on dusk to dawn on the weekends outside but burn them daily inside the home.

My bill has been pretty low the last couple months, mainly because I don't have to put A/C on. I rarely turn on heat, and if I do, it's just to heat the house and take the chill out of the air. So, mostly my thermostat is just turned off in the winter.

My electric bill was under $40 the last couple months, but in summer it's been as high as $90, and I live alone so that's a lot!

As with everything else our hydro bill keeps going up. Our hydro company just had a price increase so I doubt it will go down much. We will be trying though.

I have not got the bill yet, but I am dreading it. We plugged in the Christmas tree's and I have been doing twice the loads of laundry lately. I feel like my bill will be a shock but maybe I will be surprised by it all and it will be lower. Lets hope.
